you have gone from a total output of 60w powering speakers rated at a total of 20w to a headunit rated at 200w powering 970w worth of speakers, it's going to be quieter!
to be honest, i think most people on here would say use 15's. but if you keep asking about there are people who do compete their cars. i think holister is one. another definately is tony hunter. if you keep looking someone will have a proper answer for you.
surely these will make the car less compliant on poor roads? don't get me wrong, i want some for track work. but they must be more nervous and less comfortable day to day?
for the suspension you should have a look at the kit middo is selling! if it is the one from the lad car, it cost £1600! he is looking for £300 i think. it's proper competition stuff.
i honestly don't think you will notice any difference to the way the car drives with the magnecor leads, however they are i believe MUCH more resistant to heat than the renault ones and so will last longer without going brittle. the only thing to watch for is that aparently the 172 leads are...
i know a lot of people use the porsche wheels on vw's, try calling jabbasport, awesome gti, c&r or prabably venom themselves. there will be someone at one of them with the answer, and in my experience they are all very helpfull.
mine definately seemed more torquey after i had this done, but for mine they shortened the original cat. i dont know what it was like before, but now the flanges are straight on to the cat itself. i'm in france this week but i can get some pics when i'm back if it will help?
don't bother with the 182 cup, it's only the 172 that was lightweight. of the two your looking at i'd go trophy all day. saying that though, i'd probably have a 172 cup over any of them.
