as title really....:S
i think i'm paying £20 for the discs and £200 for a gearbox, but it gets cheaper the more you do, they have certain sized tanks and have to use the same amount of nitrogeon however much is being processed.
i'd say no's 2 and 3,
also if you are interested in setting something up, i'm about to have my discs and bells cryo treated, which massively extends the life and wear rates.
ah, have you got a set of v3's? probably the best thing you could have done to the car, they will transform it!
as for the settings, give scott at sg motorsports a call, i know he has set one or two up.
i've got an almost brand new schroth 6 point harness at home, i can't use it for my new seats and have had to get 4's.
you can have that for £75 if you want?
standard discs are pretty good to be honest, and there is no need to do anything to the rears with the amount of work they do. maybe look into getting the fronts frozen.
And as for pads people on here seem to rate performance friction, carbon lorraine and ferrodo. do a search and you will...
for the money you would be better with koni adjustables and a decent set of springs.
if you must have coilovers, (and will you be changing the ride height once they have been set up?) then go for h&r, kw or ast in my opinion.
it has a ported and polished head, raised compression, matched inlets, ptfe gaskets, arp bottom end bolts, magnecor leads and was rebuilt by sg motorsports about 5/6k ago. the gearbox has covered about 25k and the clutch is new.
how does 1k sound?
i'd say you should be able to get £1000 back quite easily. might take a while and might become a pain in the arse, but for instance i'd expect the interior to fetch £3-400 if it is in good condition.
calculate the difference in rev limit as a percentage, and assuming you will reach the new higher limit in each gear you will see a corresponding increase in speed,
ie. if the old limit is 7200 and the new limit is 7800 that is a 12% increase. so if third reached 90 before you should see a...
i don't know about these specifically, but cheap drilled discs tend to crack and warp easily and these are definately cheap.
also there is no mention of the abs rings, which probably means you will need to buy them seperately.
