On journeys less than 15 minutes I see an average of 18mpg (not enthusiastic driving), but once the engine is warm, normal driving is usually 19-23mpg.
Any car will see teen figures if you boot it properly :devilish:
First you said:
"He said he tested both the V6 and the Megane round a track for a day each with a few of the other guys in the series and that in his opinion the Megane felt faster and was more fun."
Now youve said:
"He said the Megane handled not too badly round a track either, not as...
Craig, the Warranty Direct policy offers the option (for about £3 more a month) to have it repaired at a Franchised Dealer of your choice, which is one of the reasons that I am keen to use them.
Stu, does your company offer this option?
Cheers,
Mike
What the others have said....if youre a petrol-head and you love cars that are plain stupid and youll have £££ left over each month then go for the V6. Ive had some interesting cars before, but none of them have had the cool feel of the V6, its one of those cars I will have been glad to own when...

My warranty will run out in March, and I dont like the idea of owning a French concept car with no backup, so Ive been looking it warranty options. Warranty Direct is the obvious choice, which costs about £35 a month for cover.

The attention thing is going to be down to the type of person, Im not a major outgoing, extravert junky, but I do like my car to be an interesting talking point (which they obviously are from the...
I have the disabled mk1 version and I think its great. Its not quiet, spacious, comfy and forgiving like the megane. Ben, of course youre going to hate them, they must really mess up your day having to improve what is a totally flawed project, but hey, thats your job! ;) Having said that, you...
The R32 is good in the wet, it has 4wd, but does that make it fun? not really. Most people like driving hot hatches near the limit and in safety, and the R32 is too heavy and the dynamics simply dont let it perform like a nimbler car, like the 182 or even the CTR.
The new golf has a new...
You could tell from the Top Gear review, the way clarkson was throwing it into wet corners, that its a more sorted setup than the mk4 ever was (including the r32). Chances are its going to find the middle ground between the fun of the 182 and the motorway ability of the old Golf.
But until we...
