Bring it to me and I'll work the magic - you're not far ;)
Yes, Lime Prime is the pre wax cleaner which is about £13, then just buy some decent wax, doesn't have to be Dodo (and probably best not to for Winter).
As Mike says, Onyx is a good choice at £45.
Yeah, gives a great wet look too.
I'd look at getting Lime Prime and Rain Forest Rub - will give superb results on darker colours, and v wet looking:
Few pics for you:
- Polished with Menz 203S, then Zymol Vintage
Dodo Lime Prime then Supernatural:
Britemax 4/5/6
Lime Prime and...
Kev's are fine I'd imagine, if they are the ones from the Group Buy on 197.net
You need H1's though I believe, not H7's. I need to buy some for mine still - I have already changed the headlights ready for them to go in.
No, get the £125 ones, as the ballasts will come with the HID Kit - the ballast on those only works with the Renault Xenons, which are another £400 for the bulbs
Okay, generally speaking then your best bet will not be a sealant (which EGP is, as it offers more reflective/glassy look).
So you need to look at a glaze or oily pre wax cleaner, then a decent wax. What's your budget?
It is required to pass an MOT I believe, which you won't have... so it depends how old your car is I guess...
The lights from Renault are expensive, look here:

The law is very grey - I believe it states that you only need washers if buying from new (so the manufacturers have to supply them). The main requirement is a projector lamp type headlight allowing the beam to be projected/focused appropriately.
You can buy the cornering/projector lamp...
As above really - I'd get two layers of wax down purely to ensure even coverage, then just maintain with a QD/Spray Wax/Sealant until Feb/Mar time when it will need claying/cleansing again
What condition is the paint in?
I sound like a stuck record, but 95% of the finish is in the prep. Does it need machine polishing? Has it ever been clayed?
£12 Megs #16 will be as good as most on a well prep'd car. Wax won't add much bling if your paint underneath needs some attention.
Any oil based prep product, rather than acrylic, as a base for a sealant may lessen durability, but the effect differs depending on the sealant. I did a 50/50 on a friends bonnet with Zymol HD Cleanse and SRP, both topped with Zaino Z2, and the durability from the SRP was noticeably better...
1000P isn't as durable as a lot of people make out though - mixed results over the past year or so, but it is better than most waxes out there (because it's a sealant ;))
I'd say the Colli is more durable, offering you a realistic 4-5 months. 1000P seems to be 3-4 depending on application...
Glad you liked it Alex - it's great when used properly as you have there.
My only issue is that the car never feels truly clean (arches etc), but it does a grand job of quick spruce ups etc
Megs Endurance is VERY tyre dependent - which tyres do you have?
I'm currently testing Tropicare Black Pearl which I4D will be stocking soon - it's awesome so far
