It all so easy being so damn patronising when youre on a faceless forum.
Thanks for explaining the idea of a forum, I needed that. The trouble is youre way of expressing youre opinion comes accross as rude, arrogant and unecessary.
Maybe you should think about how you write youre replies as...
NUMBER 8
LIGHTEN THE F*CK UP!! I sympathise with youre 6 year old son if his dad takes things so damn seriously.
If you dont like the post dont read it let alone spend half of your free time writing essays.
I dont come on this forum to get moaned at over a post which no one else seemed...
Your seeing this in a very black and white way arent you Funkyjahooner?
Everything Ive said is as an opinion and none of it is fact as you put it. It is correct that not everyone buys a safe car so they drive dangerously or with the intent to race.
Did I say a 3ft spike is a good idea...
Nice to see an open mind, especially with that last comment.
The theory was not the 3ft spike on the steering wheel, that was just a non serious examlple. Its the fact that he that the safer people feel the more reckless they become, also the whole it wont happen to me mentality.
At least the Citroen idea means you can cover your eyes up and drive over a very narrow bridge!! What a nice safe example that advert is! lol
I think someone should invent a Drive-like-a-c*nt-ometer which determines if your driving is good or if you being a w*nker on a 0-10 level. If you get...
Not that short a post mate, if you look at the overall point!
Im talking about if everyone had the same lack of safety!!!
Its not an optional extra is it. Besides that was an example wasnt it, the point is that if you protect people too much they become complacent.
Cars are getting safer and safer right?!?!?
In some aspects this causes people to take less care as they dont feel unsafe and therefore (some) people will take extra risk, drink or drug drive etc.
Well my theory is that is you make things less safe people will take care. Instead of an...
I tend not to use my ac more due to the responsiveness on my 172 being reduced. I dont like the thought of losing power but using more fuel either lol.
Does seem to use more fuel whether or not that is more than having your windows down I dont know.
I dont like the fact that it noticeably reduces acceleration!! Especially in smaller engines.
I know the kind of thing. Seen a set of those TSW pindrive wheels which were sprayed black and had the faces highly polished, looked kind of moody.
I know the kind of finish you mean but I cant think of a wheel that you can buy with that exact finish.
He (thats me) was following a standard Clio (Dynamique) and from observing the car from a distance the driver seemed fine. Then as soon as I was behined her/him they suddenly felt the urge to tailgate the person in front and try at really unsafe places to overtake the van in front.
My point...
BM 316 drivers are pretty bad. I had a guy in one tailing me in the outside lane. Bearing in mind I was going faster than the inside lane and there were cars ahead.
Funny thing was as soon as he saw a gap he tried to undertake, I just put my foot down a bit and he had no hope!! lol...
I know someone mentioned on here about how they were in their 172 and a chav in a Williams was driving like he had something to prove. (Not that you need to in a Williams)
I had a really weird thing, saw a standard Clio ahead and was driving normally. Eventually I ended up behind it and all of...
I did buy the car new but not from Renault!!
As far as I know Renault offered a GPS screen but not a DVD player in the Clios. Shame really but I bet they would charge a fair bit for it if they did.
Back to the original point!!
Screen is good quality, picture quality that is lol. Came with two sets of headphones, screen, DVD player and all required wiring from Motorworld. Absolute bargain.
Will do, that was just with my mobile. Will wait for the missus to bring her proper camera down.
The good thing with where I have positioned the screen is that I can show it when I wan or remove it and tuck it in the glove box any other time.
Best bit was the fact that all together it only...
Got my DVD player and screen installed. Its not permanently fixed so I can removed it easy. Im pleased with it though. The actual DVD player under the seat. :D

Renault can be so sh*te when it comes to getting parts. I had to wait for a part (not as essential as a boot floor) and they said they had ordered if from France but had no idea when it would arrive. They also said they had no way of finding out!!!! How bloody sh*te is that.
I hope they get...
Both of those look excellent!!! I love black wheels and those big 5 spokes on the 172 really set it off. Colour looks great especially with the colour of the calipers!!
Top job :D
Heres mine, could do with lowering but in 17" Wolfrace Octanes in Shadow Chrome. They dont make them in this finish now but have a chrom rim with black spokes!! :D

Are these the phonos (RCA) leads that you would have run from an amp for example.
Ive got the headunit currently wired up with 2 of the RCA outputs running to a 4 channel amp. Where does the FM modulator go??? I think Im being a dumbass here.
How bad are we talking???? I mean bad to the point of annoyance or just sounds quality depreciating??
Hows do they attach to the headunit/DVD player though???
Has anyone here installed a DVD player and connected an FM modulator to transmit the sound to their headunit???
Im looking at getting one instead of wiring up the DVD player directly to the headunit but need to know how they connect to the headunit!! Any ideas.
Does it plug into the arial...
