DVD Player & FM Modulator

Has anyone here installed a DVD player and connected an FM modulator to transmit the sound to their headunit???

Im looking at getting one instead of wiring up the DVD player directly to the headunit but need to know how they connect to the headunit!! Any ideas.

Does it plug into the arial connector?? I would have thought so!?!?

Hows do they attach to the headunit/DVD player though???

usually just plug the phonos into it then attatch to the arial socket

Are these the phonos (RCA) leads that you would have run from an amp for example.

Ive got the headunit currently wired up with 2 of the RCA outputs running to a 4 channel amp. Where does the FM modulator go??? I think Im being a dumbass here.

IIRC its RCA from dvd player to FM modulator, and then that hooks up through the aerial
