Will someone be kind enough to explain why certain people keep moaning about BD being more expensive?
Media = Same price.
BD players = Less than £250.
I just don't get it...and please nobody mention "well walmart in the US had some on offer". The other point being HD-DVD players are...
^You won't find many (if any) PSU that guarantee your hardware won't get shorted. You can however buy anti-surge protection that wires between your component and the PSU cables themselves.
Eitherway I wouldn't trust a PSU not to take other components with it.
Ignore the peak wattage (700w), the real consideration is how many amps it can live with on the 12v lines.
What does it state on the sticker on the PSU?
(Eitherway I'm sure it will be plenty, OCZ make decent units)
Sounds superb, hopefully it lives upto that write up. Can't agree about the spoiler though, I think the backend looks very...ehmm van like without a flick to the roofline.
Be a great second hand purchase I hope when I'm in the position to warrant one.

Read that, will probably point you to the right purchase. It's very much price dependant but for me the 6750 is stick the pick of the bunch for my use.
Ralph, spend 1K on a PC then have to spend another £200 on a decent card? No thanks.
Just get a decent setup to start with, even Dell's XPS range for similar money have 8800GTX in them.
CPU - Yes.
RAM - Yes (but overkill).
HDD - Yes.
GFX Card - Crap
Rest seems ok.
Basically seems ridiculous to have a gaming PC with such a budget GFX Card (£80 card).
Build your own, or I'll build you one for the less money that will spank it :)
You don't have £99 players, you have £120 players. Who cares what Walmart did on some promotion, they didn't even seem to have any real stock of them either. Don't compare something the US were offering with our market, it's like comparing our petrol price with theirs...doesn't wash.
As for...
I just don't see £250 with 6 BD movies as being expensive, I agree that ultimately competition can only lead to the consumer benefitting but I think we're past that now, I think the war is completely hindering progress of HD media and due to this prices are remaining artifically high.
If...
