If its not on renault finance, get the parts and a local place to do it like rentech. No point paying those spanner monkeys to scratch your door and dent the bonnet.
Renaultsport organise them (see the website) for £150 per day open pitlane. On top of that, think of tyre wear, brake wear (both of which can disappear if your out all day and give it hell) and that you'll use at least a tank of petrol (at least i did) just on track, not including traveling...
The poll on the bottom left of the screen will give you an idea of which ones people rate.
Ive used Conti's and Mich's and both well very good, the Conti's scream like a b**ch on tracks and the PE2's are excellent in the wet, but are more expensive.
You need to ask if undoing your belt and dropping your trousers is included in the price. ;)
Thats disgusting as its only an Oil and Air filter, and 4.5lts of oil. They are charging you over £250 quid for labour and a stamp. Think they might have is mixed up with the 36k
95ron stuff gives me donkeh a lumpy tickover and loss of power, the other performance petrols all give better performance. ive found that optimax gives a better MPG over the others but the performance difference is tiny. Stick with Optimax for the detergents
Invest in Oil from Total Butler, get an ITG filter (hardly any performance gain, but doesnt need replacing every 12k) and you'll save yourself a shitload every time. My 12 and 24k services were both £114, the 24k could have been £25 cheaper if had remembered the voucher.
Go and look at them both, decide which style you like best as they are pretty much the same performance wise. Personally i prefer the Ph2, or a Ph1 with ph2 interior, rear lights and rear bumper.
They were at Autosport and it looks pretty good in principal. They gave me discount codes so Sybian would cost £40 for the first year and i think PDA would be £59. Just never head of them
TrafCam
Actually, there is a difference in performance in the right hands. On a track a Cup will pull away from the Chubby one fairly easily. Chubbys do pretty well, but the cups are much easier to drive quickly
What you want is a Cup with CC, the best of both worlds.
My full fat came with a windscreen full of cups, but that was before i'd passed them. ;)
Can you real name this thread Marmite, love it of hate it as there aint going to be a winner here tonight folks
It was me indeed. Only left the cliosport bit on the side windows, removed the rest of the stickers.
Saw loads this morning in the queue, but missed you. There was a silver Ph1, a black 182 and a red 172. Plus a rather nice Racing Puma.
I paid £114. Supplied my own oil and have an ITG.
Ring total butler and ask deborah (iirc) how much 24lts of exhelium is now. Last time it was £65 for 24lts, bear in mind renault charge you £40+ for 4.5lts.
Its mostly 2 or so hours labour that jacks the price up
I'd love bubbles on my bonnet! lol
Get the details and ring a dealer, it might be covered under warranty but i cant remember the anti corrosion gaurantee mid vodka spree
Lol, sorry mate. Head out of Aborfield towards Nirvana and keep going till you get to the Sainsburys X cross roads. Straight over towards dinton pastures and then follow the towards the Restaurant
Dude, the quickest way from Arborfield is this-
Straight over at the sainsburys crossroads as if your heading to hurst golf club, follow that road to the sharp bend and hang a right towards the Castle restaurant (lost yet?), follow that all the way to the end at the duck pond, turn left then...
Wheres Carters hill, dont know any of the road names or places? It that the humpback bridge by Woods Yard?
Chris, ive not seen you for a few weeks. On your side of the road i normally see a ph1 silver 172, ph1 Blue and a ph2 Blue172. Plus the odd cup here and there.
Lol, didnt know if you were a member on here. Yeah always a fun, shame most of the time the cars still cold when i bump into you.
The blue one on Globe Park is Dave182, one of the Mods on here.
That route is quite a laugh, i play football at Arborfield Rec and go out through the sticks...
That slip road can be a nightmare, it was my christmas pleasure to let you in.
That guy in the black clio drives from somewhere in woodlands park as i sometimes follow him down cannon lane and *cough* have fun on the way to work
Not that im trying to start a 2nd discussion amoungst friends, but after catching last nights best of 5th gear and the CTR Vs. 182 shoot out, your saying the Astra would be as quick as a CTR? Good cars in the day, but it wouldnt cut it against the modern cars.
