i think you can get a set of different sized grommets from halfords but i spent more time finding one to fit than i did doing this and i work in a body shop so we have them lying around lol

i did mine the other week using 1500 wet and dry then 2000 wet and dry then polished them up with some g3 on a machine polisher.

its worth doing it with a machine polisher if you can get hold of one as mine only took me about half an hour to do both but by hand, you...
it looks the same as whats happens to the clio if im honest. id give it a go as the clio one have a uv protection layer too but that doesnt stop anyone.
i think what they are saying is the carbon fibre skin came off the frame of the bonnet on the motorway so ther is only the underneath of the bonnet left lol

cheers mate, ive been offerd a k tec set up without the ecu for £850 but its gonna be on his car till mid nov so ive got plenty of time to sort out some funds lol. no doubt i will be in touch to pick your brains over somthing though lol.
not bad ta, i see you got another clio lol. decided to itb mine in the end, just trying to get the fund sorted for it as ive got a few other things i want to do too (although not to do with the car lol.)

well, alots kinda happened since the last time i posted on this thread. the gaffer got sacked and my foreman ended up having to move the the marcos so he didnt get charged for storage from head office (they are good to thier staff like that). so he ended up taking it home and finished it...
well its been a while lol. not much has happened really, managed to get a 14.8 run at santa pod which i was chuffed about but also had a few problems too.
had to fit a new power sterring pump as the bearing that the pullie bolts onto was just about to give way which was a right pain in the...
for a little while now, every so often the 172 has decided not to start and ive had to either use the key fob button to over ride it or dis connect the battery for a few minutes to reset it but yester day (in the middle of asda car park :dead:) i unlocked the car, opened the door and the alarm...
lets just hope they fitted the correct screen for you as not all clios have the auto lights so dont have the little gap in the blackout behind the rearview mirror.
