Yeh that's a special edition one.
They're pushing out something like 300bhp.
The chequered flag pattern was considered to be a weight saving idea as the yellow's lighter than the blue and there's less blue on there than there is a normal one.
Another weight saving idea was the removal...
Dipped beam (normal headlight) bulbs... H7
Just for your information...
Main beam bulbs... H1
Front sidelight bulbs... 501
Front indicator bulbs...581
Front fog bulbs... H11
I'm not 100% with the Clio but some cars have the dipped and main beam headlight bulbs combined as one.
If...
I wouldn't have said you were joking. I've had to do something similar on a pipe blockage in the kitchen once upon a time. No stick could sort it so a hard "blow" (no comments please!!!) did the trick.
I'm talking about the plastic cover that fits under the windscreen wipers and around the...
Hi,
I have no water coming out of my windscreen washers :(
The water bottle is full, well just under. Even though there isn't a fuse for the windscreen washers, I checked the one for the headlight washers and that's ok. The windscreen wipers come on when I pull the stalk to but no water...
You were spotted... well I was infront of you in Pirbright yesterday around 6:30pm.
Her registration was HN51 CLO. Looked like you were lowered. Couldn't tell much more from being infront.
Update...
As said, stickers are now OFF!
Here are more (lowered) pics but minus "a few" stickers...
One small subtle sticker...
As I was driving out, I saw the main entrance so thought, why not...
:)
Update...
After having the club stickers fitted last week, I thought the bonnet one needed to be a little lower. So I had that done yesterday morning :)
It was then off to Portsmouth to have the car lowered 30mm on Eibach's...
Maybe I should...
Nah that's fine. I just didn't want to look like a pleb when I take the car down to Mike at Ren-tech. For all I know, he could have asked me why I had two different sizes (even though he would be on a wind up) and I'd just go along with it. Haha!
Update...
I'm sure I once said that I'll never modify the Clio. Oh well, sh*t happens :D
On Saturday (5th July), I'm going to be having some subtle de-cals put on the car.
This afternoon, I ordered some 30mm Eibach Pro Line/Kit lowering springs.
I've spoken to Mike at Rentech about...
My mate has linked me to the "professional" pics...
French Car Show
They're subdivided into the following categories...
Entrance photo's
Track session photo's
Showground photo's
For a professional photographer/company, I don't think they're very professional. But that's my...
Jim... I may give them a try next year.
I'm still with Adrian Flux but with a company called Highway Insurance.
Flux sort me out with a good deal bearing in mind I own the club, etc...
Btw, when you going to come out and show your face? You always seem to busy. Hmmm :p
Herdie172... How much was that lowered by and what suspension setup did you have?
Btw people, I'm assuming there are springs all round as opposed to a torsion bar on the rear? I've only had Saxo's hence me asking the question.
How low should I go?
I have the 16" Turini's and obviously don't want any problems when it comes to lowering. Is it ok to go down 40mm or should I stick with 30mm? And do the majority of people think Eibach is the way to go?
