If I want to have the Renault badge on the front and badges on the rear sprayed, how do I go about removing them?
I'm assuming the badge on the front will be a little bit of a lenghty process?
The ones on the rear... are they stuck on. If so, do they also have guide pins behind?
I don't know where else to put this so I might as well try here.
My O/S foglight has some condensation in it. How do I go about sorting it? I presume I'd need to remove it and sort it that way. If so, how do I go about removing it?
I have managed to sort it :)
I tried all of what you had said and my mate (the one who decided to play with the controls) spoke to a Renault technician and he said that I was to put the key in, turn it once and then turn the lights on and off five times until I heard the beep. That was also...
Hi all,
I picked up my Ph2 Clio 172 on Wednesday evening.
On Friday evening, I took my mate out in the car and had to fill up at a petrol station. While I was filling up, he thought he'd have a little play with some of the controls, one of which being the headlights. When I got back into...
No chance in hell mate!
Oh don't tempt me :p
Situation was as follows... the car came with no front mats but had rear mats. I gave Renault a call to see how much a set of Renault Sport mats were. He said they should come with the car. I told him I don't have any front ones (as I wouldn't...
I know. Couldn't quite get them that clean. May have to get some more :(
Yours!?!
I do think it's a must although I don't want to catch the "modifying bug" :(
A private sale. It used to belong to Centurion...

:)
Well as some of you know, I picked the Clio up from High Wycombe on Wednesday for £5,500. It's a 2001/51 model with the Cup Turini wheels. It only has 30k miles and has a full service history. The car is in superb condition inside and out and I am very happy with it
This is the only chance...
I did know what I had... but a mate said "have you thought it might be a Cup" because he thought they come with an on/off traction control switch, cruise control, etc... I thought it might have been down to the later models.
Okies.. thanks you.
See you at FCS :)
Hi Rich :)
So I have ESP but not traction control?
I don't have this switch (as mine's a 51 plate) but I know for a fact my mates ones does. His is a 53 plate.
So... what are the chances of this car being a Cup? None?
They!?! I took that pic as soon as I got to the second click. The only stay on for a few seconds. It's ok... there's not a problem. I had to time in taking the pic quite precisely.
The traction control light (above the battery light) does not come on.
Hi all,
Lastnight, I picked up a silver Clio 172 :)
However, I have a few questions...
It's a 2001 (51 plate) model and the previous owner put the Clio Cup wheels on it. The car has air conditioning and ABS. It does not have cruise control and you cannot turn the traction control on...
I'm getting fed up of making black cars look clean. Now that I'm doing 80 miles a day (for work), keeping a black car in tip top condition is just not going to work. Anyway, I love the silver on the outside and black on the inside :)
I wont be waiting that long mate. I have however found a lovely silver 172 for a good price near to where I work :) I just wanted to know whether or not buying it for what would be £1,500 less is worth it or would I be spending that putting it back to its former glory.
Btw, I didn't know you...
I've already posted this thread...

This car is for sale on Piston Heads (obviously!!!)
It's up for £4k, which is a good price but as you can see from the pic, it needs some (minor) bodywork repairs. Now how much would that set me...
