nice car. my 172 is black and the swirl marks show up really badly. i just bought a kestral detailing machine, might be worth you investing in one too. only think i dont like is the boost guage, looks a bit bodge.

oh yeah, extra tip. when you do get the bulbs out, dont drop the new one while trying to put it in on the drivers side. if you do drop it however, you can use a hoover to suck it out the bottom of the engine bay ;)

mine just pull out mate. shouldnt need pliers!! its the front indicators that twist out.

agreed!! these were the ones that i fitted to my saxo. worked great and still looked quite good imo.

i'd be interested to know this too. i've done a search before and there are Renault ones to fit non sport models but no Renault ones for 1*2's.

i did mine by myself. very easy to be honest, much easier that it was on my Saxo. i used on of the guides in the members area. very useful!

have you got a link to some more pictures of your car mate. i've seen some pictures of another white 172 (could have been yours) and it looked mint! i'm big fan of white on the right car at the moment.

heat wrapping an entire exhaust system draws the hot exhaust gasses through the exhaust better, drawing more air through the engine. i think it was first used on Pintos. looks good. look forward to videos!

from doing a search this has happened to a few people. some managed to re attach the cv boot at then top up their gearbox oil. is it torn or just pulled off?

i wouldnt panic too much i've heard of this happening to loads of people when they've changed their springs. (i was dead careful when i did mine). i think that it can be fixed without much bother. im not sure exactly how though. wait for the other responses.

yeah, im 100% sure it hasn't already got one. its strange because it has locking wheel nuts, i think its got window etching too. It definatley hasn't got an alarm. there is no evidence of there ever being one fitted either. i really need to sort out some security!!

Ok, I was thinking of getting the Meguires G220 from www.cleanyourcar.co.uk but i've done a search on CS and found that lots of people have had issues with their reliability. So, i have £170ish to spend on a detailing machine (with some polishes etc to get me started). What do you people...
