Will this fit? MK3 alarm in MK2 Clio.

My car is a Clio 172 Phase 2 '52' plate. The seller hasnt specified if this item will fit other models. I'm interested in buying it if it'll fit my Clio.

Advice will be greatly appreciated. Joe.

172's usually have alarms unless there imports.

Its the same unit as for the mk2 but the looms won't plug and play. you could make it fit if you are handy at wiring and basic bracketry.

essentually, yes it could fit but it won't plug and play as it was designed to fit a different loom.

You sure your 172 hasn't already got one.

yeah, im 100% sure it hasn't already got one. its strange because it has locking wheel nuts, i think its got window etching too. It definatley hasn't got an alarm. there is no evidence of there ever being one fitted either. i really need to sort out some security!!
