if i was local i'd have lent you a hand.
seriously people, he's started it so he needs to finish it b4 he kills himself, anyone got any images to help him along or just good advice, its easy to knock someone:approve:
As above, just undo the torqe bolt and then work it off gently, then unclip it from behind the plastic arch liner:)
or at least thats how it works in theory, might have to pry it off with a screw driver
yeah, they say they have nothing in. only ten min from them
i have however modfied the standard 182 shock by makingthe holes wider, but only so i can get her back down on the deck. just have to order one now:(
or ffs!!!!!! i was on a run last night, had the subframe and steering rack done, just the suspension to finish it.
breakers yard does not have one in, what do i do:mad:
about 3 or 4mm fella, not much in it. leg deffo looks the same, but it doesn't fit. i compared it and tried it on the other side and its the same situation there
just fitted a new subframe, bottom arm and steering rack to mine yesterday. A complete ball ache led on your back doing it but jub done:approve:
I'd just get a second hand subframe, try Stutt Autos's he trades on here and i got mine from him, wasn't very much either.
if you do it yourself...
Just repairing my clio and having to fit a new near side suspension leg.
i got hold of a standard 182 suspension leg but itdoesnt fit the hub (won't line up on the bolts), is there a diffrence between the 182FF suspension leg over standard. Or have i just been sold the wrong suspension:(
i...
me, it was a good trade off, i got a shirt, the wife got the bag.
was good quality to, all metal knives & forks, cheese board and knife, wine glasses and plates, napkins, and a wine cooler.
tip top, lol:approve:
goin off the topic a bit, was also thinkin about residual values too, renault will carry on with what they have, honda are goin all green and reducing their sports range, so the civic should hold its value better
but st is ford, i like jap tech, and to be fair they are always well built, reasonable mpg out of the civic too, never tested the seats proper, av to check that, sayin that the wife wanted a cooper S:eek:, fookin arguments all night ova that
just my opinion, but i disagree, love the early sports, but they seemed to have lost the point of a cup in the 197 imo, but thats just me.
The way the market is you can fill yer boots with a new car, was offered a honda s2000 for 20K!!!!! was 29k, last of the series before they go eco green...
may be so, but look at the prices, what is a 197 new?
the cup is poo, all black plastic, you think they would have made it different in an appealing way, its just PLASTIC!!!!!
