Thanks Chaps,
After much debating I have decided to be the better man and hand it over:approve:
However you lot that go on about Karma better be right, i've listed the car on here so lets hope it does sell.
i'm an honest enougth guy, and yeah, if the roles where reversed i'd need all the...
Right, done a quick tally, and these are the results so far
Give it back: 14
Keep : 16
Split : 13
Dunno's : 13
Talk about playing it safe you lot, christ i'd hate to take bets on this.
And still no responce from the guy yet:S
my car check.com
cheap and easy.
Cold air from the blowers sounds like a matrix problem, and by god is it a ball ache to fix.:(
But if yer good with the tools then go for it, just hope the MOT does not bite you on the arse
forgot to mention, outstanding finance!!!!!!! check it its rife...
Only turned the ad back on today, it was listed as sold
I only took the deposit because in the past people have asked me to hold it then failed to turn up.
Biggest issue is, and i had it already today.....
"mate, seen yer car on P/H, thought it was sold"
me: yeah it was the buyer pulled...
Milky oilcap might just be condensation.
Leave the car running, and make sure the engine fans kick in, look at the cooler bottle, is there oil residue init.
The price might reflect the condition, but does it reflect the amount of money needed to put it right,
needs spraying, servicing...
I like the colour,
would have a standard front and rear bumper and a set of 16's then it would be a nice car imo. Like the dehandled doors
But show cars are all about being different so well done and good look with it
Perhaps, but i take people on face value, and I didn't want a lot of calls and me having to fob them off untill i recieved the money, that just messes people around.
She just said 'i don't know what you want to do about the deposit'
to which I replied, I need to speak to him and come to an agreement, i advised perhaps if he can't speak he could email me, heard nothing back yet:S
My main reason for selling was to clear some debt, i work for a company that sells data intelligence to the automotive industry and wanted to be sure I had no burdens if i ever came unstuck.
Owned the car for six months before that it belonged to my best friend for three years, belts all done...
I hope i sell it,although i was gutted when I had sold her, seemed a fair price for her
I am a big believer of goes round comes round, but by the same token I need to be clear he ain't just got cold feet and trying to get out of this
lmao, i did think this, but its all a case of what if,
must admit i would have rung up personally but he's probably too pis*ed off to do so if its all true
This is the dilemma i am in.
Seemed a genuine guy, was only waitin 4 a transfer of funds, he even rang me up this mornin to advise he'd collect tomorrow night, his g/f said he's a carpet fitter, so could understand the him bein made redundant.
I'm an honest guy, wouldn't wanna kick him while...
The buyer of my cup has been in touch, well his gf has, she explained he has just been made redundant and can not go through with the purchase.
He left me a 200 quid deposit, had to sit on the car a week missing out on potential buyers.
Do I give him his deposit back, keep some or all...
Just do the basics yourself.
Could also be your lamber sensor could it not?
On a personal point of view everyone should learn the basics of car maintenance then you won't get your pants pulled down.:(
Plugs, coil pack, brakes all very DIY even on a 172, and i'm sure there would have been a...
oh dear,
lets be honest its hardly rocket science,:S
if you struggle with this then yer better off at the garage,
my only advice is do not thread the plugs, cool engine, and gentle does it DO NOT over tighten!
