Wipers juddering up the windscreen when i turn them on in the rain, really p*ssing me off, brand new as well! Doesnt matter what make I buy they do the same! I've tried glass cutter and some other glass cleaning stuff but I think I may have put too much on :O what can i do?
Yeah me and ChrisE, these 2 lads were picking a fight on 1 guy which I felt was a bit harsh, the 1 guy was trying to calm them down obv didnt want a fight, but then they started circling round him so he knocked them both out cold on the floor then walks off!! Called the police n tht, the 2 lads...
Three do the best deals by a mile at the mo ;) I rung up orange to cancel my contract they asked who i was moving to so they could match the price, i said three, and they said they couldn't compete!
I think its quite an effort to be honest with you. plus the brake bias is about 70/30 front/rear so there really isn't any point getting discs on the back apart from the look. You'd be better off spending the money upgrading your front system as this is where the majority of breaking takes place.
Yeah try changing anything on a 16v and its a proper mission!! Most pumps are noisey as standard, unless its actually starting to fail (eg sometimes its super heavy and doesnt work) I wouldn't bother touching it.
Maybe better off getting them from mytyres.co.uk and getting a mate to fit them or you can probably find a garage to fit em for £5 a corner! Most garages rip you off by a mile.
Don't you have a torx set??
Also don't think they have a torque setting as they are only done up very lightly just to hold the disc in place while you put the wheel on, the wheel nuts actually secure the disc to the hub, screws are just there to hold it in place while you line up the wheel/hub.
Yeah defo stay away from those cheap ebay chips they don't work and bugger your engine. Its very difficult and expensive to get much more power from a 1.2 engine, you would be better off buying a 1.8 16v (valver) or getting a whole new engine in there!
Don't like the sound of the oil leak to be honest that could be a leaking gearbox or even a headgasket which is never a good thing, Id get someone in the know to check it over.
Take the fuel pump fuse/relay whatever out from the fusebox then run the car till it dies and wont start, get a tray under the filter and take the hoses off and ull only get a little bit of petrol come out ;)
