Test drove the 172 today, and was suprised it wasnt that fast! maybe its because I didnt take it over the 4.5rpm mark, this proves maybe the 1.4 16v can keep up with it at low revs!! glad i chose my car!!!!!!

shaaaat it! the sport badge is fine on the 1.4 16v. It is a sporty car, and if you people notice, the new clios come standard with alloys, even the 1.2! so doesnt this suggest that Renault are basing the clio on more sportier looks? therefore theres no probs slapping on the sport badge...

Theres not much in it between the 1.6 16v and the 2.0ltr Pug at 0-60 PUG=8.5 1.6 16v=9.5 only a seconds difference. So IMO go for the 1.6 16v becuase it definetly looks much N-I-C-E-R!!!! there is no difference in the GTi and the lesser Pug models, except the spoiler and the alloys...
