Lucky if you get any power gain, although it does feel better at the top end in mine (piper X IK not viper) seem to get a bit more pull in 3rd and 4th at the top end. No serious change in the cars behaviour at all tho. Reno actually did a superb job of the original.
I always think xenons are a bit dodgey at juctions, if you hit a rut in the road and the nose dips for a second it can look like a flash and a car could pull out of you - not good!
I think people tend to drive like they have a cop car behind them cos originally cop cars were the only cars...
it goes
"bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum" "bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum"
No really it sounds like the background in Top Gear when Jezza Clarksons driving a Ferrari (honest it sounds just as good!)
Get one!
terry towellings like a towel, they make nappys out of it I think. Make sure you use clean nappys tho cos semi digested cow&gate dont look good on yer paintwork

LOL Ill give you a fiver if you can contain yourself for 500 miles. I pulled out of the dealers grounds and booted it woohhahahahaa
if you buy a 182 youll only be pissed off when the new range come out lol. You can never win with new cars. Unless you bought a fiat bravo which hasnt changed shape in about 8 years!
Its always gonna happen. Residuals on 99% of cars are appauling anyway so Im not loosing any sleep over the 182!
My experience of direct line is that they tell you something completely differenty every time you ring up.
Had a bit of a shock when we rung to insure the new 172 werd just bought and they said it would be 3 grand! muppets.
Go for the hard run in m8. Engines are tested before you get them anyway + you have warranty. Reno couldnt prove owt even if something did go pop. Get it thrashed!
Do you know if the wheels are the right offset? If they are sticking out a bit too much they might hit some of the plastic liner or bumper if its on the back

Just been out on whats been the coldest night of the year so far up here, very little grip and tried a bit of tasty driving without the comfort of ESP. Fook me is that my no claims bonus flying out the window lol. Seriously Im pretty worried about the lack of grip on the 172 in the cold/wet. Im...
I saw a mini with twin R1 Engines on Pulling power (sky) and that was something else!
If it were me and I was going to all that trouble and basically making a car from scratch I would put twin engines in. Otherwise you might as well strip out a 172 for the same performance???
Either way...
Someone posted a video a while back (0-60 I think or maybe 60 - 80 or something) had camera trained on the dash of a mk2 172 AND a GPS unit indicating the speed. The speed of the speedo on the 172 was absolutely bang on. Obviously the margin for error increases with higher speeds but not by as...
