I just got kenwood components but didnt bother fitting the X overs. The difference in sound is barely noticable anyway (between fitting the extra crossovers) the mids in the front doors do get bass/mid range signal but cos theyre 13cm they can take the bass without distorting.
Yeah as the others said its irrelevant cos its all sh*te. The only half decent thing is the wiring which is quite thick. Ive ripped mine out and replaced the head unit wqith a pinoeer mp3, kenwood sub and amo in the boot and kenwood components up front. Sound really nice, not to bassy just right...

Anyway m8 how I got our quote down from 2 grand to £1300 was wack the excess up to £800. Basically my thinking was that any accident where I have to pay an excess Im gonne pay through the nose for the insurance...
Also its worth mentioning that renno would actually be in breach of trading laws if they were pumping out clio 172s with 160 brake. Mazda have done two buyback offers in the states for that very reason (advertising a car as having about 10 brake more than it did)
Theres lot of stuff flying about about 172s been vastly different in performance. I personally think that it got more to do with the equipment and calibration of the rolling road. It would be intresting if you took it to another RR on the same day and see if theres a difference .
Well I drive about 25k a year in a wallowy, noisy escort van so I REALLY appreciate those seats. You can do 200 miles straight in the 172 and get out without any aches and pains. It really is a top motor.

Well Ive got a couple of paint defects and when I showed them to my local deal (Harrats in Pontefract) he told me Id be better off going to the one in Leeds because their bodyshop was a lot better! Hmmmm lots of faith in renno lol.
PS on the legal front I would think that they will have an obligation to put everything right but doubt you will get them to swap it. They could probably argue that the spray work was tidying up the cosmetics prior to delivery. The chap I spoke to at reno says that they get damaged on...
