Decided it was about time the M5 got some wax on it, previous owner wasnt big on polish so the paint needed a bit of love, going to have some paint work done in the new year and ill have it mopped after, but for now a customer took offence to the state of the car and agreed to give it some love...

    Big Brakes on 172

i was being sarcastic.... as said before i do agree a good set of discs and pads on the clio is an excellent brake upgrade, but for me personally 4pot had more power.

    Big Brakes on 172

I tried Brembo HC discs, ds2500 pads on mine wit hstandard calipers, and yes they were good not doubting that but i just wanted a bit more, hence the Willwood kit we developed, so much more stopping power available with them i was doubtful if it would be worth it having seen what people say on...

    172 brackets for wilwoods available?

this is the clearance on a 2118 et37 i believe: plenty of room.
  17. broster@JAM-Sport

    172 brackets for wilwoods available?

indeed ,they fit a few 15" wheels, 2118's williams wheels etc... no need for spacers either.

awesome cars, love mine, i just fitted the supersprint x-pipe, kept the standard back boxes, sounds nice but not overloud, done a map on it aswell loads smoother now, lost the lurchyness when pulling away.

    Brakes for 15" 2118's

thats one joy of the willwood set up, the pads are so much cheaper.
  22. broster@JAM-Sport

    Brakes for 15" 2118's

i ran the pf97's in my willwood calipers, awesome pads, dust is a mare tho, ok if your into cleaning your wheels but im not into that, the 2118's were proper stained
  23. broster@JAM-Sport

    Brakes for 15" 2118's

i found the 4pots gave so much more stopping power than most disc/pad combos out there, massive difference on track and on the road.
  24. broster@JAM-Sport

    megane 225 brembro's

we looked into this and found it cheaper to make the willwood kit, this costs less than 700
  25. broster@JAM-Sport

    172 brackets for wilwoods available?

our kit wont fit the standard discs, however it will fit a 295mm disc with i can supply at the same time. the kit allows the fitment of the 4 pot with no need for spacers also.

    New work horse...

  28. broster@JAM-Sport

    New work horse...

for the age of the car and what you can pick them up for not much comes close to be fair, looked at s4's rs6's but the m5 won! cant beat the noise of a v8! trying to resist the urge to buy an exhaust for it but not sure i can!
  29. broster@JAM-Sport

    Matched inlets

some are some arnt, bit hit and miss with them
  30. broster@JAM-Sport

    New work horse...

plans are standard wheels, maybe a cat back exhaust depending on price and tempted with black grills.... nothing set in stone, costs enough to run it...
