throttle bodies are the start of a slippery slope.....
as said on the phone mate, drives really nice on the road, think we should swap now...
Re: Project 172 **** Update page 9 -ITB'S ****
John, we did consider mounting the coil on the side of the head, and simply swapping the leads around, this may well be done just need to make some alterations to the loom.
Re: Project 172 **** Update page 9 -ITB'S ****
I would imagine the main reason for the going for jenvey taper over parallels, other than mid range power gains, would also be the space.
the AT ones are slightly different in design again, giving more space and more power compared to the...
Re: Project 172 **** Update page 7 -ITB'S ****
ben, its a similar bracket to the GDI one, basically its a bracket designed in the only way to mount the coil in the standard location.
i do apologise, such a fantastic place to put it in the standard location, few £ later and one water jet...
Re: Project 172 **** Update page 7 -ITB'S ****
its a fair bit cleaner now ben, got fed up of getting dirt on my hands.

Re: Project 172 **** Update page 7 -ITB'S ****
with this setup you get a longer ram pipe than the jenvey tapers.
also the loom is now dressed so looks totally different to the loom in the pic. should be good to see what power it makes now.
we make some that bolt between the rear struts using 4 high tensile cap heads to bolt it to the body work, mounting one to the top of the rubber mounted shock top mount wont gain you anything other than looks.
the effects with the clio arn't as great as some other cars, but as they say every...
Groove, that was towards the end of the day, was nursing the brakes a bit then. the track was pretty quiet all day tho, which was nice, was a few red flags but other than that spot on.

Recently went on a track day with a few friends-work colegues.
first time on track with the clio, would normally take the corsa but it was still in need of mapping and with limited time etc it was wiser to put the 888's on the clio and have some fun!
Robins diesel bmw...

Re: Project 172 **** Update page 4 - Air filter located cup racer style ;)
We have used the AT power throttle bodies on the vauxhall xe engine and were impressed, this is the perfect opertunity for us to show they work well on the clio engine, i know there are a few cars out there with them...
having done a few of our 295mm 4 pot kits recently i would say every owner who has had them has had nothing but positive things to say about them.
It all does depend on what caliper you go for unfortunalty.
