Yea mate it's loads easier with the bumper off. As said before theres a black plastic ring with ridges in it for grip. You can do it without bumper off but its damn hard work!!!

New exhaust looks tidy mate, but as said just needs a little jiggling to align it nicely. Did the previous owner use the old exhaust to stand on when cleaning the rear of the roof?? :rasp:

How much are they please Broster?? I'll need to go to Renault for the throttle body one i think so i'll get prices off them too. Hopefully the throttle body one will survive and i can take it back (Or keep it if it's cheap enough)

Dropped mine off at a powdercoaters this mornin. £120 for all 4 wheels stripped back, rims re-dressed and powdercoated gloss black.

TBH mate. I'd eBay them. Not being harsh, but they don't suit the car at all. Find some Pro Race 1.2s or OZ Super Turismo's etc.

Its out now. Thanks for all the advise, i didn't end up buying screw extractors or going to quik fit. In the end i removed the disc and wound the thread out from the back with some mole grips and WD40. Just gotta remember where i usually get my brake cleaner from so i can degrease...

Nah mate it's broken flush/about 1 mm inside the hub so there's nothing for grips to grip!

Its got no wheels on - lol I think i'm gonna try chiselling a slot in it and using a big screwdriver to unwind, actually thinking about it that'll widen the thread so it won't turn. I guess i'll ave to get the bolt remover from screwfix and do it at home! Any tips from anyone who's done it...

The bolt heads in my pocket mate. Just the thread left in the hub, should've pointed that out really!

Just so that you know, i have contacted Kam racing about doing a group buy for the compbrake solid top mounts also. Ill let you know the outcome of this.

Locking nut key was in glove box, judging by smashed window. Personally, on a car of that value i would've invested in 4 sets of locking nuts! I keep my locking nut key in the car (won't say where) as it's needed if you get a flat!!

What are the benefits of the AST top mounts over the Compbrake ones??

Don't know how much you've paid, but you may have been better off cleaning the throttle body yourself and getting yourself an RS Tuner!
