    Quality 20mm spacers

    Eibach or H&R.

    ESP?

TC stops the driven wheels from spinning (traffic light GP etc.) and ESP stabilizes your car by reducing power and selective breaking (to quick in teh twisteez, y0). But only until the limitations of physics (kind of useless if you know how do drive properly).

    ESP?

    ESP is not traction control.

    spend or save hmmmm?

Not much quicker than a 1.2 16v Clio...

    RS Tuner

I think they are not locked. But make sure that they are the correct version ones for your car/ECU software.

    RS Tuner

First of all you'll need to plug the RSTuner in and look which software number your ECU is running. Then you send an email to Henk with your VIN and software version and ask for the correct RON98 performance cal and reprog license. I think 1*2 maps aren't available any more on fastchip.nl

    Will 1.2 8V springs fit a 1*2 cup

    Get the correct tyres then?

    Will 1.2 8V springs fit a 1*2 cup

Physically they might fit. But they were not made for the weight of an F4R engine in the front. BTW: Eibachs shouldn't drop the car that much that you need more clearance in the winter. Never had problems with snow and coilovers ;)

    Manifolds

C&B's (which worked quite good afaik) 428s and 438s which didn't work that good.

    still getting a resonated sound

    Heatshield rattling/loose?
  11. mr.pink87

    Manifolds

Possible. If you go the cam-route and decide to get more power later, you could always add an ITB setup.

    Mikey's 172 cup

    corrected!

    Manifolds

172s on 182 manifolds will not lose top end power. That's a myth on here. Imo it's worth to change it and it makes swapping cats/decats much easier. Nothing wrong with the bigger ports and the manifold as the manifold's bore is always bigger than the port bore.

    2. RS meet Slovenia

Ragnotti is slightly different to the cup. Lighter, no rear wiper etc. Iirc the Ragnotti is the homologation model for the Group N Rallye cars.

Gearbox: A used one? Rebuild mine? How much?

About 300 quid for new synchros, bearings, a few bits and labour. Could be that they have reconditioned boxes on the shelf. You could give him a call, the phone number is somewhere floating around on the forum.

Gearbox: A used one? Rebuild mine? How much?

I'd always prefer a rebuild box over a used one in unknown condition. Don't you have gearbox specialists in italy? Had mine rebuilt by Agency Transmission in Worcester and it took about 2 days. Maybe you could arrange something with cliospares and Agency, that the used box gets straightly...

do you know what fk automotive coilovers these are?

Camber on these is adjusted with OEM bolts/nuts and elongated upper holes on the strut.

do you know what fk automotive coilovers these are?

Better get your flamesuit out. Heard you can't beat billies ;) Seriously: The adjustable FKs are really good (The non-adjustable aswell).

1st picture is really awesome! But: a cup is not a Ragnotti.

    100mm drop pic request

LOL, 90mm springs on standard shocks. Fuckin' mental.
  21. mr.pink87

do you know what fk automotive coilovers these are?

Means these are not stainless steel. Rear adjuster on FKs like to seize but that's easily sorted with tons of WD40 or heat.

do you know what fk automotive coilovers these are?

FK Königsports. Adjustable damping but not inox'd. Should be non cup packed fitment.

    1*2 gearbox ratio's

Ratios are not different. 172 ph1 boxes have a slightly longer final drive then ph2's and 182's boxes but will not cause any problems. If you need a quick, good and cheapish refurb call Agency Transmission in Worcester.

90mm is fukn low dude! looks s**t tbh

    Power Steering Pumps

Same pump on all 1*2s. Cups have a different PAS line, pump is still the same afaik.

    172 Cup Track/Fast Road car.

I've seen coilpack mounts that attach to the gearbox side of the cylinder head. TDF supplied them iirc.

    dephaser pulley?

Timing will be out if he did not use the tools. It's nearly impossible to get the timing correct with markings only as you can't tension the belt equally.

    Reviews on AP coilovers

You're right. APs are nearly the same coilover but with a slightly softer damping.

    Reviews on AP coilovers

    That's what i thought.
