Even the 250ml bottles last a while:D
Good product, I've done Mercedes, BMW and Seat [VW] paint and PO85RD 3.02 does the trick.
All the above are reputed to be hard finishes.
PMSL at the cloud of soot out the back of the oil burner.:rasp:
Such a dead give away when someone boots it when you're behind them.
Nice quality vid though, mount seems to be pretty solid and stable.:approve:
Some nice clear pics there!
Like Nigel says, lowering the shutter speed would have created a sense of movement, the cars look like they are parked on the track even when we know they are moving cos you've frozen the wheels.
I like Freds mate;)
Shouldnt mind getting up her backbox...
It seems most battery manufacturers websites/brochures spec the 2.0 Clio Battery as a size 065, whereas, as someone posted earlier, the actual size needed to fit is 063.
Just before I purchase a fully licensed copy of one of the above, any of you guys on here use either of them?
We've had the StruCAD demo and it seems just what we need to speed the process up a bit, but the sales rep was a bit pushy and wanted an order there and then, so we're looking down the...
Correct - it is definitely a 47Ah battery as mine is the original Renault one on an '03 172.
Halfords want about £80 for a typical replacement, found this one below though. Its a slightly lower Ah at 45, and the cranking current is a bit less...
I've tried a few different shampoos over the last few months
* Autoglym I've been using for years - like it, but doesnt lather up enough really
** Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II - really like this product, good foaming, smells nice [puff:eek:] and leaves a nice clean finish
*** Zymol - the one you...
I did my bonnet yesterday.
Sonus paintwork cleaner to remove old sealant, Menz IP/FF, before a coat of SRP.
Like you say Adam, I spread it around the panel with the machine off, then spread again on speed 2, then up to 3-4 to work it all in. The finishing had been done on the panel with the...
Beat me to it.
Brother has the UDM and he bought a special adaptor which means you dont have to cut of the 110v plug off. Though he did tell me that set him back £28:eek::eek::eek:
No worries mate. PM me if you want any more info:approve:
ps, the Z4 was about 8 months old and set the owner back £36k !!!
As said above, you can get 240v versions of the UDM and G220, so no need for tranny and extension cables [which would set you back £50 ish on top of a porter cable]
Cant really go wrong with the Porter Cable 7424, thats what I've got and for swirl removal with the right polishes its great.
Polishes I use are Menzerna Intensive Polish Po85RD3.02 and Menzerna Final Finish 106FF.
Jeffs werkstatt acrylic Jett trigger as sealant and you're made:D
My brother...
Ah, only done a couple of panels on the missus's car.
Last time I did the Clio i used Sonus paintwork cleaner before the EGP on the bonnet and Victoria Concourse on the rest of the bodywork.
Did it last July and its still beading well.:D
Do you find any problem in the Jeffs bonding after Menz IP & FF Rich?
I have been using the Menz combo and last time used Jeffs straight after the Menz. Seems ok, has two coats on now.
He he;) Nice one.
If you're used to the ball ache of Extra Gloss Protection for the £13 its gonna cost, I'd recommend you add a bottle of Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic Jett Trigger sealant. You can ONLY get this from PolishedBliss.
Spray on, wipe clear, buff to a high gloss - so so simple to use...
Sounds good Michael.
I've bought stuff from PolishedBliss before and the service and packaging is top notch.
You might want to add a decent sealant or wax on your list to protect that lovely glossy finish youre gonna get with the Megs 83 & 80.;)
B15 MDL - silver 182 by the looks of it [non original wheels], strangely enough see [AND HEAR!!!] this quite a bit on my way to work, about 30 miles in opposite direction though!?!
Had a drive out in the 172 on Saturday and saw it parked up at the Karting Circuit.
Also saw a Ferrari 599 GTB in...
Doesn't look too bad for the money.
I take it its a 182FF with the cup packs, so you have the best of both worlds - full fat luxury, leather, climate etc with the added bonus of Cup pack handling.:approve:
Looks like a bit of a ding on the front edge of the bonnet smack in the centre on the...
F*ck me!!!!
Amazing vid, sounds like you guys had a great time.:D
Good idea with the radios, some of those speeds did look a bit excessive where there were junctions though.
Entertaining that mate.:approve:
I'm just about ready to change all four of mine.
Running Contisport Contact2s at the moment - they've done 20k miles on the front and the rears have been on even longer, so durability has been really good.
Evening
Just looking at your post count, you've obviously been busy on here;)
With what is expected to be some nice weather coming up, we need to sort out a meet and get your G220 hooked up.:approve:
