Ok next problem with the car... the clutch has been started creaking when you push the pedal up and down... its not the pedal assembly... and I can hear the noise coming from the fork on the gearbox... so it this likely to be the cable... the forks pivot or the fork on the back of the thrust...

Ok well I can now see where the noise was coming from... and I can also see why it felt like my ac has been a bit timid... my pollen filter was jam packed with crud... I cant believe how dirty it was... Ive just been down to Renault to get a new one... I asked the guy how often they should be...

Ok so where is the pollen filter on my car... and does it give u access to the fan? every so often it sounds like the fan is hitting something... like a leaf or maybe one of the bits of foam they use to seal the joints in the blower circuit etc... Thanx in advance..

I brought a HU back from the usa... and I sold it promptly... the main probs you will have is that it will not tune into weaker stations due to a different step division... you will have no RDS so it wont show station names, and you will have no AM frequencies... appart from that its fine... ;)

I find mine keep going in the morning when the screen is dry but cold....

I use the microfibers for removing the polish too.... they do the job a treat... Oh and if you only polish the car in straight lines front to back ie not in cirlcles.... you wont get those tiny cob webby looking scratch marks...
