I went into Renault today and I was asking the guy about paint codes etc... so he went and took a look at my oval plate...and told me to hang on a couple of ticks while he went out the back. When he came back he done a complete printout of all the fitments, specs, ecu revision, software revision...
I had mine replaced at 1500 miles... the mechanic took it out with me... drove it about 500yds and went yep thats slipping it turned out the oil seal on the back of the crank was dumping oil all over the clutch...
Ok Im happy again now :) Ive just dropped my car off at a local garage and the guys going to remove my ding. I didnt want to go to a large national company as you can never be sure what sort of service youre going to get. You might end up with the dent being worse than it started. So I phoned a...
Ok Ill give dent devils a call too... Im the same when it comes to parking... I park miles away.... If I can have a clear space either side of me I will.... also I always look for parking spaces on the end of a line... I like to think thats one less side that can get banged..
Whats annoying...
Ive had my car a year and a half now with no problems... 5 mins later in a Macky Ds carpark and someone has put a ding in my rear panel behind the drivers door.... I think I know who it was as well as they were looking at me funny as I got in my car.... This was actually on the way upto Donny...

I dont use it either as the rev counter tells me whats going on, but its just one of those things that seems silly... Of course I wanted to see it come on after I ran my car in so I gave it some and I had to peek over the steering wheel. Its more dodgy than a useful warning as you are looking for...

Just got back from a days shopping when a little monster spilt some coke on the carpet in my car... no problem I thoughy, I have some Oxy stuff which lifts dirt and stains... so I go and wash the carpet down (not the removable mat) it seemed to take the coke out ok... but I thought my mat was...
your pour rad-weld straight into the coolant.... Ive used it once to get a car home.I think how it works is as soon as it leaks through a hole in the rad etc it solidifies when it comes into contact with air.It got me home until I could take the rad out and weld it up properly...
I think it has to be the origin b2 all the way.... although I think the radar detection on this unit is an add on module.I was thinking about getiing one in the next month or so.... costco are doing them cheap...
Try putting the car in gear and pushing it forward or backward just a bit... kind of rock it to move the gear ring around a bit... then try starting it.I had this a few times for some reason the starter motor just jambed (not on my 172)... it sorted itself out after a while.
I had my clutch replaced at 500miles... I had the same problem.Under hard acceleration from standstill the revs just shot up... Apparantly the oil seal on the back of the crank was leaking and letting oil contaminate the clutch.... Renault fixed it with no hassle...
yeah my thought exactly... I mean even if its only as good as say a good quality semi syn then that would be fine by me.Im going to give it a try on my next oil & filter change...
