As Andyman said...probably will book for an hour or 2. I managed the complete exchange in about 4-5 hours...and I am not a grease monkey. However I managed to get the thing sorted.
I guess the bolt from the side is still in.
Transport costs will be calculated as well I think.
Hey Pritchard182,
Check these threads...

If you have really all bolts from the lower inlet (there's one on the left hand side aswell...you cannot see it from the from of the...
When the electronic throttle body is disconnected the car will idle on 3000rpm (safe mode), so there might be a electronic problem with the throttle body or connector or "maybe" the gas pedal position sensor (potentionmeter).
However running idle at 6000rpm seems strange to me.
lol I know the V's have big turning circles, I remember not getting around a mini round-a-bout when I got to drive one when I worked at the renault.
Currently working with defence material and new vehicle I'm working on has a turning circle slightly bigger then the V's :D (just above 14m) Ow...
NGK PFR6E-10 I believe have only 1 prong (is that how you call it? sorry i'm dutch). I think these are the plugs that are advised by renault?
But anyway if keying spark plugs is only worth doing with bad spark plug I might not try at all.
Sorry I might did not explain myself clear.
The picture is a spark-plug giving a spark. The yellow / orange color is the ignition or spark itself. The dark part behind the grounding spark (shadow of the spark), actually shows that the spark does not (or less) reach that spot.
@ Riley:

Wandering through some threads here on cliosport.net I found a thread about exhaust heat wrap in which this link was given.
http://www.carbibles.com/fuel_engine_bible_pg2.html
On that particular site there is also an item written about keying your spark plugs.
In general it is positioning...
I think it's better to send Henk (fastchip I guess) an e-mail. He answers quit fast most of the time. I don't think he has the time to scan cliosport.net every day.

As for you question I really don't know.
Good luck
Looks so promising Frank!
I need to come over some time again when it's finished. And hope we get away without any fines ;)
Good luck and keep us informed!
Just came across this video... (don't know if it's a repost thou)

Screamer :D
I don't have a PA graph for you but I see your car weights 1075kg. I guess that's the empty car weight you put in...you should add weight of person and maybe fuel.
You'll see other results then.
Goodluck

I am talking about swapping the original electric single throttle body of a 182 for a cable operated single throttle body like ph1 172. This imo has no pro's besides better throttle response. This is what sideways danny is talking about??
You are talking about individual throttle...
I would not advice going cable throttle conversion and a stand alone ecu.
You do get better throttle response, but you loose some electronic devices like cruise/speed control, and I believe ESP and ABS.
A remap can and will improve throttle response aswell using the normal renault ecu.

Just got of the phone with the dealers.
Guy seemed a bit uncertain bout the part.
He said it's the complete lower seat part with out filling and clothing. Fixed to the rail.
number 77 01 207 209
price: 322,- excl vat (19%) in euro's
Could have a go at the breakers, but not going to...
Lol this stupid idea shoots into my mind.
Why not get a slider from the mainland? Are these different? I'm from Holland so I could have a go at calling the dealer for the partnumber. If someone checks the number in the UK I'll phone the guys from renault tomorrow.
This might also be the most...
have you tried turning them while hitting them with that hammer?
else if you going to replace it....if it ain't broken yet you haven't tried hard enough ;) j/k
Ok here goes.
Yesterday evening I noticed a change in the blower speed of my Clio 2002 RS FF. (but did not check anything)
Today when I turned on the ignition, the blower started right up without the CC being on. The blower seems to be spinning at full speed. When I activate the CC the speed...
About the loudness.
I heard when the clio's raced at Zandvoort (Holland) they had to change parts of the exhaust because they produced too much noise for the Dutch circuit regulation. (yeah they are more strict then in england or belgium for example)
Anyway the cup racers were (if not still)...
I don't want to pretend I know my stuff but isn't it easiest way to make the gasket precise match with the inlet-ports on the head? I guess not many people have head work done, so most are the same size? (50x30mm)
Since the ports on the inlet manifold might vary.
Also depends on the thickness...
You're welcome Mauricio,
I don't know the weather in Mexico but if you're running it in hot weather you might get some more heat soak then running in the winter. In holland it's usually 0-5 degrees in the winter :)
Best thing is to get a duct there that allows air from outside the enginebay...
Yeah Frank, that just the way we Dutch people are. Protecting our stuff under a thick layer of dust ;)
Anyway when you have your decat, we should talk ;) I know you need a cat for APK (MOT) but if the sport cat is good enough for APK you can have my normal CAT for the APK-time and ofcourse we...
