It's already had 2 rear wheel bearings and an OSF done. The only one not done was the NSF.
I'v looked under the car and there's certainly no grease anywhere!
Hi,
I've got a really nasty knocking/grinding whilst going rould left hand bends. Right hand bends are fine.
It has recently got worse as there is now a whining sound when doing around 70mph on the motorway. Also, the ABS light comes on now and again - I'm assuming this is to do with the...
Fantastic! Thanks Fred!
Been 3000 miles since I bought the car and it's still knocking on idle! Sounds like a diesel! I'm sure it's the Dephaser but the sound is coming from the centre of the head, not the dephaser area! Mmmmmm!
Thanks Fred. I've got the smae engine noise as you had! I'm hoping it's a loose spark plug.
Any idea what's a good price from an indy to fit all of those parts?
How did you get them so cheap?
Thanks for the info guys!
My 172 is sounding like a diesel at idle. OK after 1500rpm. Thinking that I should really change the dephaser pulley and all of the associated gubbins!
Anybody know how much a good price would be for fitting at an indepedant garage?
I sold my Honda S2000 and bought a Ph2 172. Just using it as a beater through the winter months. Going to go for a supercharged/turbo S2000 or an Evo 8 MR next I think.
Your RN is looking good! Which bodyshop are you using?
That's what I was hoping! If I park infront of a garage about 1 metre away. The passenger side beam is about 2-3 inches above the line of the drivers beam. It seems a little high to me!
What do you think?
Could somebody please check their HIDs tonight to see if the passenger side HID is fully lit and the drivers side only the bottom is lit?
Thanks!
I realise that.
What I want to know is how they are wired. Is there a seperate feed from the HU to the tweeter, or is there 1 feed that goes to the tweeter and then onto the door speakers?
