Great, looks like those pioneers are a straight swap. I suppose that means components with a crossover box are better than the Pioneer direct replacements. I'm sure a cpacitor on the back of a tweeter isn't as good as a crossover box. Where does the wire split, or are they wired in series?

Same sound here. Sounds as though it's coming form the centre of the rocker cover though.

Depends where the noise is coming from. You need to see where the noise is at it's most, ie - around the engine mount or around the rocker cover, etc...

Whereabouts is the noise coming from? Put a screwdriver against your ear and try and find where the noise is coming from.

Have you removed the acustic valve?

Could you do this yourself? Put the gaskets against the inlets and mark out. Surely couldn't be that hard if you were careful and had a steady hand?

Think I may check the witing to the nipple. How do you get to it? Do you take the painted cover off the front of the mirror first? Then what? Cheers!

:rasp: A wrong reading seems to be a more popular problem. I think you need to just change the sensor. £40 from Renault though! My problem is slightly different, I have no display at all!

Had the car a few weeks and the outside temperature has neer worked. There is no reading at all on the display on the dash. Anybody help?

Ballast - mine did this only a few weeks ago. Got one second hand off here for £25! Works fine now!

Forgot to mention that they actually did a brake test on it and said both calipers were fine but one was very slightly better than the other. He said that it was not much of an imbalance and that it was not the cause. Going to pursue the worn bushes as it goes right under hard acceleration...

Did the wishbones come with the bushes in? I thought they didn't. Was that a Renault part or a pattern part?

Sounds about right! I tried braking hard and the accelerating hard, it pulled left under braking and then right when accelerating hard! You are probably right! I'll have my mechanic have a look! Is it worth buying the poly versions or just stick to the standards if those are the only ones...

Speeds in gears will not dictate wether not the car has had a remap. In gear speeds are dictated by the ratios. A 200bhp car will get the same speed as a 500bhp car if they were the same type of car with the same gear ratios.

Ahh! That would make sense! come to think of it, it does look like a gromet of some sort. However, there's a flashing light on the instrument panel. Why would you have 2 LEDs? My alarm has the black motion snsors on the A pillars, is that normal? Could my alarm be after market?
