they were good for me aswel lowest quote i could find by around £300. The only thing was i had to have a car inspection which was a complete waste of time
is it in a metro? i cant see it being that hard to do to be honest just aslong as you know tightening order, torque settings etc of the headbolts. but the again it is a rover so was probbly put together by an iron monger my birds 214 is a proper pain in the arse!!
is the head already off? if it is you could try tapping the thread depending on how bad it is. this worked on my mates punto after he put a plug in at about 45 degrees to the plug hole!!
Saw this on passonford it is still making me giggle, it reminded of that london wideboy who rang the chap selling his car and kept going on about a turbo when it didnt have one.
well on every car i have ever worked on that had a brake imbalance it was the pads. If one of the pistons in either caliper was sticking then you would get brake binding where effectively the brake is on all the time.
It be thee pads i tell thee
It'll be the amount of amps your stereo is drawing from your bat/alternator, i used to have the same prob with my first car (1.2 nova!!!! BEAST) it had a stupid stereo in it with 2 amps one 800W to power my sub and a 400W to power the rest. with it pumping away you could feel the car struggling...
I'd say its just your coil pack, the rotten eggs smell indicates this, i doubt its your cat, but it might of been damaged with the unburnt fuel going down the exhaust. My money is still on the coils
