Has anyone on the forum had air bags fitted to their clio yet? I was interested to see what was done and what they think? As not sure how you would get the height on the back to change as the torsion bar fixes the rear axel ridgid.

thanks for all the posts but sorry they are not really helping me! I am looking for some examples of bonnets so i can try and see what types of hinges were used, so that we can have it copied. doing it does not worry me my bodyshop will do it, just need to work out how to do it.

i cannot find any examples of how its been done. I have about 4 sets of different hinges and can't seem to be able to get the correct movement. Thought you guys would be able to find some examples!! This is harder then 19" rims!!!!

I had exactly the same issue and found that the two castle nuts on my drive shaft was not correctly tight! this causes the wheel to not rotate straight, rather meander from side to side and actually space the pads off the disk. when you put your foot on the pedal first it brings the pads back to...

No thats not correct. You need to machine off the splines of the torsion bar and then push it back in! it then only acts as a locator for the swinging arms. the car will them be controlled solely by the airbags. easy really!! Except the kit cost is mega money!!!

the torsion bar should have no effect on the ride height adjustment the airbags will act as both the shock and then load support, so when fully closed it will sit on the bump stops and then when fully inflated it will rise up! No one to date has ever done it, especially with the size or rim...
