68 isnt high mileage, high for a 182 maybe... think price is OK, but does look like it needs work doing to it. Cambelts cost a fortune as well and bet the brakes need doing before long, they norm need doing around 35k lol. straight away nudging 5.5 grand.
Not had this one long, but gave it a massive cleanup today. Following from having brakes done (ferodos and Brembo HCs) I today painted the calipers in silver, and cleaned. Also had bonnet and wings resprayed because there was a few stone marks.
Gave my 172 some tlc today, and painted the...
I had an issue with BMW when I purchased my M, they had a few finance companys and in the end went with a company called Carlyle Finance. Bit small and mickey mouse, but done the job just fine. This was via BMW as well just had to pay a bit more to get the finance. http://www.carlylefinance.com/
on a reverse note, i didnt find the fuel much worse on my 197 from a 172 transition. Granted its a bit worse, but only a few mpg. i think the 172/182 mpg clocks are inaccurate - although ive always found all renaultsports (2.0 ones) cheap to fuel for the performance you get.
My main bug with...
Softening the front suspension will increase grip. or you can counter act by increasing the rear pressure but i would sort the front if the rear feels ok.
I guess they prob work every so many cycles, i.e. no point in thetm spraying headlights everytime you do the windscreen. thats how my bmw works - not sure with my clio though lol
my experience
1) exhaust rotting along with brackets
2) cambelt wearing to death at the 5yr point
3) rear brakes being expensive
4) some electrical faults - though not had many in my exp
5) seat mechanisms not working properly on the recliner side of things
6) rattles in door/win...
I've owned both - in this order, 182, ctr, 172 ph1, 197 and now another 172.
I would have brought another CTR if I prefered the civic. They are good cars, no doubt, I would almost 100% say from my experience definately felt a bit quicker for straight line pace, but I have always preffered the...
I have dropped an email to them to enquire about the fitting costs if I drive over there to have it done (and stay somewhere). Hardly costs anything to get to Holland. Will report back.

As per title, probabally a dumb question but where can I get Wheels changed into Anthracite colour?
Based in Wycombe Area. Dont even know of what place would do them?
yeah i was thinking about getting the hammerite out actually. I done a prior cars in silver, looked nice. hmm.
Anyone know where I can get my wheels change into anthracite?
Had the clio a wholey few days now - so uprated the brakes (calipers same unfortunately). Brembo Max front discs, with new renault rear solid discs, and Ferodo DS2500 Pads front and rear. Took some pics of her aswell. Next week I am going to get the bonnet and front quarter resprayed because...
03 would still be 172 mate. 182s where 04 onwards.
Just look for things like:
Brakes - Rears are not cheap and maybe shot looking at the mileage of car your going to buy
Cambelt - If you can get one that’s been done then great as when they do go there expensive. I wouldn’t personally...
