Dont think Daz is the best person to insure under, he pays alot for the Williams iirc! Make your choces wisely mate, if its your money then go for it. Wouldnt do what I did all those years ago and get myself in to debt over a car that was a stop gap.

Like the mk1 16vs and Willys. If its not a sport model then I prefer Mk 2s. I quite like that. All I will say is how old are you? If you spend £3k + on a car like that you wont get much back in 2 - 3 years when you want something faster and sportier?

The rev limiter is there to stop you doing serious damage in its early days. Mine reduces boost until the engine is sufficiently hot enough. I heard that new Clios have reduced RPMs in lower gears or something?

Wheel spacers god damn it wheels spacers! Looks like theyre afraid of the sun light and are hiding in those oversized archs. All the body kit in the world wouldt make me by that Im afraid. Only cars with body kits should be mental powered cars.

Keep it till you can insure something else, save your money for your next project instead of blowing it all on the Clio, only to sell it for a fraction of what you spent.

I would say consider the MR2 Turbo though mate, Williams is group 17 so doubt insurance is much more.

I doubt Renault Servicing is any more expensive than Toyota (both Foreign) Just watch out for garages with cowboy mechanics who take it for a ragging! Its pretty much the same car as the 16v so if some ones experienced there then they can look after your Willy as well.

Im paying more than that TPFT for the MR2

Ill play with most people, faster or slower. Prefer faster cars though! Once had a bout with an M3 in my 16v he whooped me but was pleasent, he also pulled me up and asked why my exhaust was flaming!
