Was out on Saturday night when the nagative terminal decided it didnt want to make a connection any more and the battery died. Had them out 3 times while every one else was racing about etc etc. Finally they just towed me home.

If the engines on then it will prob produce slightly more power and possibly too much blowing the fuses.

Get something that can be tuned easily when you get bored. You WILL get bored once your used to the power.

I have them, no one touch windows, and a tilt only sunroof. I though the lecky sunroof was on ph2 onwayds?
The seats did match the badge buit they looked awful and were in a mess so I replaced them with later phase one seats.
What was the difference there Daz?
I know there were different seats on phase ones - I took the hideous blue and yellow ones out and put the plain blue flecked ones in!
Other than that didnt know anything was different?
Can tell by seats, bump strips, front grille, instruments, wing mirrors, wheels and other things that I cant remember off hand!
Unless you got a phase 1 like mine that has bits of both on it!!

I usually use 1 bucket of soapy water, 1 sponge, 1 hose pipe, 1 leather shammy.
Then if its nice out and Im not bored I will use some of 1 bottle of turtle wax polish.
Only joking fella, Ive used all sorts of different things to clean and polish mine with and never noticed a difference...
You can get an uprated dog bone mount to reduce greatly the amount of movement. Or so Im told. But yeah its common not to worry really.
I got a valver for sale, little bit more than you suggested but youll save yourself in the long run!!
