Could always ditch the FBW in the ph-2 and convert it to a cable throttle? Ph-1's I've driven do seem to have a quicker response when you push the throttle though.
Yeah should be mate, I may be abit late though, out on the pi55 tonight so no doubt I'll be hung over tomorrow and I'll be traveling back from Prestwich.
Annoying isn't it? lol
I had it done on an Escort I use to have but they stole the two fronts and the rear, obviously done because it was pissing down with rain and thought it'd be funny. Oh that was a fun drive home that night.
I'd imagine 90% of 1*2s would have been ragged about at some stage of their lives. The key question is if it's been warmed up properly before being ragged about.
The only thing is though the lad has only had it a month and is selling it on. Like I was saying to Jamie it could be a genuine sale but alot of people seem to try and do someone else over when selling/buying cars, so it makes you very wary.
That wouldn't work unfortunately, the insurance company would just say it's your responsibility to make sure everything is legit. Seems mod friendly companies don't mind you adding mods you plan to do in the future and vice versa for the companies who rape you for mods.
The wheels were pretty clean to begin with really but yeah just wiped any loose dirt off and sanded the rest of it off.
Ermm spent about £50 on materials I think it was.
I was abit worried how it might turn out, so I just sanded one wheel down at 1st and sprayed it. Could always practice on...
Thanks! Plenty of sore fingers after doing it though lol
It's the prep work that's the pain in the arse, my 1st time with a rattle can and it hasn't come out to bad, pictures do hide a few imperfections lol.
Yeah still really happy with the Konis, get yourself to a NW meet and you can have...
Finally got my arse in to gear and did something about my wheels. Two of them were curbed due to a fail I had in the snow and the lacquer was bubbling. Managed to finish the last wheel today with assistance from Seb (Sofaboy). Cheers mate :)
Pictures aren't the best as they're taken with my phone.
Just outside my house yesterday afternoon, I was busy sanding down one of my wheels and noticed a green 200 drive past. Made a brief visit to a house just opposite mine.
*cough* 140bhp ;)
I did no such thing, my car doesn't have enough power to do anything as lary as that remember :rasp: haha!
Really wished I hadn't put mine on the RR now :(
My Alpine head unit does this from time to time, not sure if it'll work for you but holding the eject button for 10 seconds normally works. If that doesn't work maybe the hammer method already mentioned may work :clown: lol
Nice pics Mike, you would take a photo that shows my bubbling lacquered alloy though :rasp: lol. Oh and thanks for the passenger ride in the Edition30 Ben, some animal that car is, mine felt like a right shed driving mine home after being in that. Lol
