I told you before Jord, he cheated and dropped oil on my side of the road ;)lol.
Seriously though, I messed the launch up, to much throttle in damp/wet conditions. He wouldn't have another blast after he'd won that one though. lol. Obviously scared of losing because he knew I wouldn't mess the...
Hmmm. Perhaps I'm being a tad paranoid but with a title like that and willing shell out £££s on a machine just for 5 names on a list? does sound abit like a scam to me.
Apologies if I'm well off with that assumption.
Someone's secretly fitted a supercharger during the night while you was asleep ;)
Mine whines as well and it's more pronounced at 3k rpm in 1st and 2nd gear. As Rory says it might be something to do with the aux belt pulleys.
Couldn't be down to the pads could it? I use to get a shuddering/grinding feel through the steering wheel when braking from high speeds, the discs were fine but the pads were knackered.
Could someone drop me a p.m closer to the time and when something definite has been planned? I have a habit of missing meet threads that aren't in the NW section and I'll end up forgetting about it. lol

I'm definitely up for this, finally get to see what all the fuss is about the Evo Triangle. :D
Definitely upgrade, pointless getting a standard system because it'll just rot away and need replacing again.
I went for a stealth on mine so it saved cutting in to the back bumper but that's just my personal preference because I prefer that look on the 172/172Cups.
When I was looking for a Cup last year, the Cups were more expensive than the normal 172s. Also the Cups seem to change hands alot more than the normal 172s. Although that might be just me because I notice Cups for sale more than the other specs.
I've still to see pictures of your Impreza yet Jamie :rasp: lol.
As for the Cup, the 1st 2 months or so the car feels really quick but that feeling does wear off unfortunately when you get use to it. Still an enjoyable drive when you're in the mood and you find a good road to take it on.
Nice shots Ian.
which multi story car park did you go in?
If one is arranged for next week, Wednesday next week is the return leg of the derby game, just a heads up as more people might turn up if it's a night when the football isn't on.
Won't be able to make it tonight I'm afraid, I'm going out to watch the football. I'll text you or Ian when I'm on my way home to see if you're still out.
Yeah, I use to see a Trophy regular at the JJB soccerdome when I played 5 aside with work.
Sounds like a plan that Ian, my car is all photogenic again seeing as it got it's 1st bath for 5 weeks yesterday lol.
Such a drama queen, nearly pissing your pants because an angry scouser threatened to shoot you, you girl :rasp:.
Chris? do you ever venture around the Urmston area or JJB soccerdome because I've seen a Trophy around those areas a few times. Most recent time was in Urmston near the Nagshead...
Not sure if it's been mentioned in the thread because I haven't read all the posts but to knock that silly beeping off when the seatbelt warning light is on.
There's a sensor that plugs in to the drivers side seat buckle, just undo the front cover by undoing the small torx screws and you'll...
If you're worried about it you could always ring your insurance company up about it and ask them. Better safer than sorry really because they'll find anyway they can to avoid paying out.
Mine's exactly the same, well below what it got during the warmer months. Currently averaging 29.8MPG, where as I was getting 34MPG before. Mainly a mixture of short blasts and town driving and some motorway driving.
Re: Insurance. Fookers! (young 172/182 owners look in)
That happened to me as well. Time to change companies for you I think if you haven't already gone with them.
