For me that'd be every vehicle I've ever owned in some form.
I regret the Clio considering how much its cost me, and I regret my motorbike because I crashed it!
Running out of love for this car atm.
Its in epic need of a respray.
Rolled the rear arches tonight, its better, but not quite right still.
And further to the above, I have a Strange Clock from front suspension that I can't figure out :(
Will be at MK this Sunday with it though.
Minor thread bump. I hadn't thought of the pinch bolt, Have checked it now, and thats not the cause :(
So, anybody else got any ideas?
I'm running out of ideas.
Haven't had time to get a breaking thread up yet... but I'm breaking a Cup, if anybody needs anything I'll bring it along on sunday. Saves us both money!
Bulbs are in a differance place, Sorta.
I think its side and brake at the top, vs at the bottom as Ph2.
My DCi has the brake at the top (replacing the fog)
Couple of more pics of the Camber yo!
Personally, I don't mind it so much, I followed it up the road and it don't look as bad as I thought it would.
But Mark is picky, and I knew straight away that I was going to end up changing it again in the future!
Completely disagree with all of you!!!
Ph2 lights look soo much better. Much much fresher.
I've been saying to Mark for ages, needs Ph2 rear lights. I prefered the Ph2 strips etc, However the black strips do work. I also agree with Mark about keeping the Ph1 rear bumper/boot etc. Just needs...
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Cup loom would save a bit of weight all over really. A/C wiring, ABS wiring, Cruise etc. Also remove auto headlights/wipers.
Edit: Seat airbag wiring tooo
Awesome!
Glad you're happy with it, I didn't notice any vibes when I sat in it, but then I wasn't paying attention! Felt better up the road!
Running out of things to do to it!
Pretty much my thoughts! However, my mate has shown intrest in it, as a track car, whereby it would need a lot less. I believe engine is just stem seals.
Its a hoot to drive, Deffo better than the non-cups I've driven.
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Been following this since you started.
Sounds like its going to be even more of a awesome car once its back together with all these bits etc!
I think they are used to it by now!
I don't make too much noise, and I don't take up half of the street, so I like to think they don't mind me too much. Moreso now as I no longer have a bloody loud motorbike!
Clio played its small part in my Cliosport driveway again!
Then, How many people does it take to wax a Clio?!
Also Serviced it the other day, Pollen filter, Air Filter, Oil filter and oil (All Genuine Renault), Plus gearbox oil change, and Cat fitting kit to stop the blow. 102k miles.
List...
Errr
Engine smokes (114k on it too)
Missing rear back box
No tax/mot
Leaking rear shock
Outer CV boots split
Track rod gaitors split
Dented roof and drivers side 1/4
Think thats all.
It'd be an ideal track car really, I think the smoking is just stem seals.
Its worth a fair bit in bits too...
I'd pop up if you covered my fuel costs, with my decent diagnostics, and my knowledge, and most likely some brake cleaner to identify if its an air leak.
I'm 10mins from Stansted Airport.
This time, its a Cup, My first Cup.
Saw it on ebay, snapped it up bloody cheap tbh. Can't decide if I should fix it, or break it, It needs a fair few bits, and it'd never be a mint car. Ideal track car though!
This means its the 3rd Cliosport on my drive atm. Already on the look out for the...
