yeah think he lives near there. its richo's i believe, he is on here. i see his car there quite a bit when i pop into woodys. he comes to the meets too.
as said. take centre section out and get a custom made full bore pipe.
mine was too loud with a decat, suppose it depends what you are after. was very boomy on motorways.
search for christophers miltek. he has removed the centre section. its loud.
the gains are not exactly huge with a decat on a clio. the 182 cat is a 200 cell anyway so its pretty much a sports cat. the only thing de-catting does is give you a headache.
im sure there will be a lot of people on here saying decat it tho.
looks great. not really ever been a fan of the orange but i guess its the tigger think. the rear looks a little low for me, i would raise it 15mm. handling improved with the coilovers?
aaah, new photo now!
ph1 rear ends are pretty bland and look a bit dated and nothing special but the front end looks better than a ph2 imo. having a ph1 with a ph2 rear is the best of both worlds. good work!
think i have seen that before...
on another note, check local meet's section if you are interested in attending. i see you are local. we don't have the next one planned yet but when it is it will be up on here :) nice to see some more people. usually a fairly good turnout.
great colour. looks spot on. good to see you are ditching the standard wheels, i cant stand them! lol. the turini's will look great. i might have tried something different tho.
yeah jabbasport near crowland peterborough, although i guess most garages would do it for you but i would get tracking/alignment etc done at the same time.
haha! im sure your nan will be fine rolling on sportlines.
no i didn't fit them myself. jabba did it for me. i guess its only an hour's labour. not a difficult job to do but i just let them do all of the work on my car to be honest.
i think the springs are £130 (could be wrong on that tho) and £40/ £60 to fit?
not the best pics jonny but...
prolines
sportlines
apex
just so you get an idea.
it you type in 'sportlines' etc... in the search box at the top you should be able to find lots of pics of different springs.
prolines barley drop at all. they handle nice and precise tho but you won't notice the car is lowered at all.
sportlines handle just as good imo and is a noticable drop without being stupidly low.
apex lower a lot! but handling is sacrificed.
i have had all 3 sets on my car and its sportlines...
ultraleggeras and sportlines (30mm drop) will look spot on imo. but then again i would say that ;)
had apex that were about 40mm/50mm drop and the ride was pretty harsh, not sure if that was down to the make of the spring or the extra 10mm/20mm drop. but sportlines are a great compromise and...
oh and also a good point to make, the ultraleggeras made a big difference on cooling my brakes down from the standard wheels. changed the car to be honest.
15" looks great if lowered about 60mm. lighter and cheaper rubber.
i have 16" ultraleggeras on mine jonny as you probably know. they are noticably lighter that turinis, thats why i went for them, plus the fact that everyone has turinis.
its not silver like yours but it gives you an idea on how...
jonny :)
welcome mate! we have meets now and again in the peterborough area, usually a pretty good turnout. keep an eye on the local meets section for peterborough meets.
get some pics up soon, although i will prob see it in the metal soon anyway :)
ride height looks good but im afraid thats about it.
i know this sounds harsh but if i saw it driving down the road i would struggle not to laugh. the stickers look terrible.
and im afraid im only a fan of white wheels on one car on here...
although, with the stickers removed (all of them!)...
