I've found out today that Bosch or anyone else don't seem to make them for the Clio, I guess normal wipers it is then?
i dont rate the aero wipers. they dont wipe properly at high speeds, they flap around on the glass. i find normal wipers work better.
had the front just been jack up before the photos were taken? looks really high! and as said, the front camber looks very odd. too much +camber by the looks of things.
looks great tho, will look stunning on the coilovers.
the calipers didn't seem to stick at all. think i must have fitted the last set wrong. only thing i can think of is not getting the lump/clip on the pad in the piston properly...
seems to be fine now tho :)
replaced rear pads today. discs dont look to bad to be honest. knocked off the excess from the edge and the thickness seems fine :)
pads were very worn on the inside, outside pads looked almost new! what would be the cause for this?
same here, but i got an advisory on my mot and he mentioned it to me. wondering if the caliper could be sticking. doesn't appear to be tho so i dont know what else it could be?
182 wheels - 9.5kg per wheel
turinis - 8kg's per wheel
ultraleggeras - 6.7kg's per wheel
think these are right. not 100% sure but i was looking into it quite a lot when i changed my wheels. it made a difference to the feel of the car and a massive difference to the brakes.
they look much better. vent the brakes much better. but are still fairly heavy.
i would opt for something lighter (much lighter) and less common such as ultraleggeras ;)
had a cracked rear disc about 18 months ago. replaced both rear discs bearings and pads with standard items. now after 18monts usage the guy who mot'd it said the discs need replacing soon!! wtf!!
how could that be? i dont do excessive mialage or braking etc. i have noticed that there is a...
sorry im not really a fan of white on black. and im not keen on the splitter. exhaust looks lots better! just needs the longlife sticker removing now. really like the car tho.
i would rather see dark wheels (black or anthracite). cup splitter. de-badged rear. new number plates. clear or dark...
just played around with a few photo's. was bored and thought i would share as the owners might like to see there cars looking a little different. and no... im not on acid!
imo t1-r's are very good for the money. better than some more expensive tyres.
another good tyre for round about the same price is hankook v12's. i will be getting these next time.
heard good things about the whiteline anti roll bars. sound like this is the kind of thing you are looking for.
i will be getting one when i have some spare money. read the group buy thread for more info on it.
yeah i did what darren s did. thing is after a while the heatshield also tears around the new bigger washer. getting the araldite out when the weather improves.
