Anyone got any pictures of the best place to fit flush aero catches to a 172 bonnet?
I think I'm going to get someone to do it for me but would be nice to point them in the right direction!
Just trying to build up my bits for the itb set up on the clio.
I've done a search and found the model number for the polo vag rad but just wondered which fan I need to get? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.
Can anyone link me up to some decent ones they reccomend?
I'm guessing the ones to go for are the ones that sit flush to the bonnet?
There seem to vary in cost and no doubt quality!
Pulled up at home last night and the car was squeaking away. I've left it overnight and it's still squeaking;

I'm guessing maybe aux belt?
The car is a 2003 172 Cup.
Thanks.
As with most of my Saturdays off I ended up having to look after the kids. Lucky for me they like washing the car so we cracked on and I decided to take a few pictures while was sunny (missing a centre on one of the wheels so just waiting for one to come on the bay.....cheap).

Yeah yeah yeah, it's been asked before I'm sure but now I've bought (or am at least in the process of buying) some AT Power bodies I need to know what's out there.
My wish list as such is;
I'd like to be able to have the ECU installed and mapped for under £1000
I'd like to be able to revert...
After my throttle body deal on the Rallye fell through I was in danger of not been overdrawn so decided to but Jenic's recently refurbished OZ wheels and tyres.
Picked them up tonight and smashed them on straight away;

I went to the local VW meet at Squires near Leeds tonight.
My brothers mate came in his R32 and I took a few pictures (iPhone only).
Im not normally into this stuff but really liked the look of this and the air install was spot on. He can also operate the air ride from an app on his phone now...
The previous owner of these team dynamics pro race decided to run with no brake pads for a while and as a result this happened;
Any reccomend me a reasonably safe way of getting this stuff off? I've been working at it with the abrasive bit of a kitchen sponge but its taken me nearly an hour...
So, I've got a DA from my brother to borrow;
I just need some advice on what pads and compounds I should buy. I'm looking to tackle the Rallye which has some serious swirl issues!
Any advice would be appreciated.
A couple of weeks ago I removed the gti spoiler from my white Rallye. It had been bonded on with some silicone based stuff and left a sticky horrible mess on the roof. No problem I thought, ill break out some tardis and that should help me get it off. At this point it started raining so I moved...
Any amateur detailers in Yorkshire fancy having a crack at my Rallye? It's got some serious swirl issues that I don't have the skills or tools to tackle it.
Ill give beer, cider, cash or hand jobs in payment.
Thanks.
I'm not a detailer. I like washing my cars as long as I can get it done within the space of two hours or so and never used a clay bar before as never felt any of my cars needed it - enter the Rallye!
The paint on this thing was so rough I used the bonnet to sand down my headlights on the clio...
Was gonna have a punt on this before the Rallye came up;

Ok, so this is my second S2 Rallye in as many weeks. I guess I just really like buying them.
Its probably a little better condition than the white one so potentially a better project.
Few quick iphone pictures - ill upload some more after a clean tomorrow.

Picked this up tonight for a little project;
S2 16v Rallye with a few other bits.
Drove it home and was really nice on the motorway - few issues with it, the seats have got a mind of their own and needs new pads at the front but on the whole it's not too bad!

The car still looked reasonably clean from the wash last week so thought id take a few snaps;

I had a ride up to Newby Hall today for the cars in the park show.
Pretty good turn out and some nice cars on display.
I took a few pictures but only on the Iphone as the SLR had run out of batteries.

Picked up my new track wheels last night and smashed them on the car this morning.
Im really happy with the way they look and will probably leave them on there until I've done Blyton in May.

I'm booked on my first ever track day next month. I've got the standard cup turinis on my cup at the moment with toyo proxes on all round.
I'm looking at getting some 15s and the ones I have seen have got nearly new toyo proxes t1r's on. My question is, would these be ok for track use or do I...
Just a few shots of my brothers t5. He's been into them for a good few years and this is his most recent one.
T5 transporter, 130bhp, fk coilovers, roof rack, side bars and banded steels.
This is my seventh cliosport. I keep leaving the brand but end up coming back as I'm yet to find a car that offers all the the things that a clio does.
I've known of this car for the last year as fellow member yorkshiredaz owned it. The previous owner before him spent a fair bit of money on it...
Only this picture at the moment but am going to take some more tomorrow hopefully.
Its been in the club for a few years and I bought it from yorkshiredaz on here.
The spec is btb exhaust and decat, spax coilovers and cams.
Going to book in with track torque to get the coilovers set up...

The seller says he'd take £925 for it. The belts were done by a garage in Bradford - low tax and mot but seems tidy enough from the pictures and the mileage checks out on the mot check website.
Bet to my possible track car obsession. What are people's thoughts on this as a possible?
It's a shed but with the vts engine in that shell it should go well.
Track car only - not a daily!
I've got a 350d and have had it a few years. I don't know the first thing about photography and just tend to shoot in auto mode! I've taken a few night shots in night mode and these turned out ok with the use of a tripod.
Im struggling in lower light as you can see from the pics in this thread...
As two of my three kids went to nursery this morning I decided to use the time constructively and wash the subaru.
Quick rinse off, autoglym shampoo, buff off and then some Autoglym high resin polish as well as some high quality turtle wax tyre shine! My wax is on order so my hard work will...
Yesterday just outside castleford apparently.
It wasnt me who spotted you but a mate at work. He said a ridiculously loud white integra r nearly caused an accident with a crazy overtake, I showed him a picture of your car and he said it was you.
That exhaust really gets you noticed!
