Yes they are impressive, lol I did the same in a few places but welded them back up :)
I have got it still on my scrap pile so I will try and weigh it tomorrow if I remember. It's surprisingly heavy! I've been weighing lots of bits today and the biggest killer on the Clio is the doors they are...
Good to see all is going well with it Mike was a shame not to see you at Bedford! It'll fly when you do the meth kit :) watch out with what camber gauge you buy as I bought one and its proper pants! I will send you a link later on fb to the one I'm planning on buying. Also don't forget that...
£15 for all 4 or each? I have seen the kit in action and actually used the machine to do a set of injectors before and its very good. I did some 15 year old injectors and the difference was impressive although I don't know how bad the clio ones get. For £15 I would do it without a doubt.
Haha lol! Good work Mark :)
I'm sure the ones you've bought will be perfectly fine! You big tart
I only needed to buy some as my wheel only had 4 bolts fitted from day 1 so I thought I better add another two!
I just ended up getting these Mark after the lack of orange Pro bolts :) http://bit.ly/13mdViT
I'm not sure what they are made of to be fair but they are 10.9 bolts
The camera positions do seem ideal! Lucky on trackdays you don't play bumper cars. I couldn't get away with running mine on the front bumper, wouldn't last 2 mins!
I know these pics are pants mate but found them on my camera from Oulton so thought I would pop them up! Might have some of yours from Bedford too will have to have a look
Just looked at the pics from Bedford at the weekend and found I hadn't looked at the pics I took at Oulton, they didn't come out well apart from this one sorry
Everyone is correct about needing PAS on circuit, I did a test day last year before a race and was doing 2.01's (on slower tyres) my PAS failed and I raced without it even with the better tyres that make up time I was 2 seconds a lap slower. The wiring kit is really handy and i'm sure if it does...
Thanks for all the tips and ideas really appreciate it! I will try the Tony method and may dig deep in the wallet and get one of the kits for future as its an issue I'll always have.
Thanks Colin really kind of you :) unfortunately I am away from home tomorrow until very late and can't alter my...
Anyone got any tips for bleeding the brake system from scratch just with one person and without buying one of those expensive bleeding tools? My mates live in Leeds which is an hour round trip and they won't come and help :( lol
There is no hole on the rack, the column connection passes over it and then the bolt goes through the connection and the flat part of the bolt you have pictured holds it :) If you cant get the bolt through the connection then you have got the connection 180 degree's out so spin it round and then...
I was just going to put it on a lathe and do the following
A friend of mine who runs lots of racecars does it on cars where they aren't allowed to adjust the bias. He just uses a hacksaw to cut slots of material away
