Re: Clio turbo out at bedford (inc following Mikes ITB car and a huge 100mph+ sideway
Nice vids Chip probably more exciting than the Top gear i'm about to watch lol! Well held on the slide and getting going again. The camera views are mint :)
Will the AST's be okay with those reg's Pete as it says must retain original suspension mountings? Just because of the rear coilover, I know that reg is in the hillclimb section of the bluebook and they aren't allowed to run a rear coilover on the clio's
I have been hearing about it since October and it sounds very interesting but I need a complete car before deciding what I'm doing for the season :)
Doubt it, really enjoyed the races last season and like the chaps we raced with so I imagine I will stick with the Tintops for 2013
Thanks mate :) Hope yours is going well!
Yeah to me it's important :) You wouldn't turn upto a business meeting in trainers and a hoody so why turn upto a race meeting with rusty bits lol! If it weren't all in orange it wouldn't stand out quite so much :o
Thanks Phil :), very kind of you to say so! Hopefully I haven't let anything slip through the net
Lol me too but anything can happen at the end of the day its a racecar but while I was rebuilding it would of been a shame not to do everything nicely and much easier to keep everything clean and...

Thanks again Russ couldn't have done what we did yesterday without your help :) Pleasure with the pizza and yes I realised about 30 mins after you left, its still in the...

Thanks guys very kind of you to say :) I'm really happy with it and have been amazed by how little time it's taking to put back together.
I'm very excited to drive it especially in anger and see how it performs. Obviously not as much has been changed that I planned to but I need to focus on...
Update time!!
Right so as I showed a few days ago I collected the shell on Monday after it had spent the weekend drying after painting. While there it had the new seat rails fitted at the correct spacing apart which now gives much more flexibility, a few areas of missing welds on the cage were...
Epic stuff Chip :)! I can just tell you will take me out in it and i'm going to have to take back that I don't like turbo'd clios lol
Great work as ever
All sounds great Pete :)
I had a top mount nut the same last season, i've not worked out what i'm going to do to stop it yet!
As you know i'm keeping my options open at the moment for where i'm racing this season so will be good to see how Snetterton goes for you
