I did have a look around but then run into needing new brackets etc. The only reason I don't like the alcons is the seat damage otherwise they are really good. I have been assured if I torque them myself then I won't have an issue so we will see!

Can't say I've ever tried a car with in the wet only ever driven a couple and was dry. What's the difference? I know they are sometimes not ideal on gravel due to the wheel spin so I guess a similar issue in the wet?

Paddleshift in Motorsport applications still uses a sequential box but then adds extra sensors, an extra ECU and some clever mapping which controls the gear cut and controls throttle openings to provide a really quick up and down shift with perfect rev matching. Had a look through the prices and specs of the new cars the other week interesting that the paddles are an option as I imagine it makes the car quicker on a full lap as it will blip the down changes etc.

I've got 421's, ITB's with long trumpets and will be revving to 8k and i'll be over the moon with 205 bhp :)

My alcons are fine with standard 172 cup master cylinder but had never ending issues with the standard 182 cylinder and ABS system

Haha no worries mate :) Nitrogen FTW! I just get them filled to 30 and then drop them when testing to a good hot running temp and never have to top them up again I haven't found anything anywhere near rated for the temp that the calipers get to :( A few other people I have asked have warned...

You need the megane 225 cam seal kit :) the seal is a different size and it's what I use for my non vvt cams otherwise yes it would piss oil out

It's lost a piston and taken a few other bits of the engine with it :( fingers crossed they can get it fixed in time!

My ECU has it but it's pretty useless so I (also Tony and Jay) just use the launch control rev limit and that does the job perfectly :) As you say if there is a feature like Launch or button to swap maps etc then easy to sort. Would make life much easier for Pete and Sam
