Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Agree. Just have to sell the Orbisoud first.

Rob you know me too well bro. 😅👌🏼I can’t see my Clio being anything but a forever car, it took me long enough to get it back. Lol

Likewise mate. I often found myself mesmerised by the great white Meg in my mirror. It looks absolutely superb on the road with so much presence.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

I looked at doing exactly this and concluded it would be more cost effective to sell and have a complete new setup made.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Ha, exactly mate. The Cayman wears a full titanium Remus and Fabspeed headers. That little lot is around £5500. Some people appreciate high quality items and others don’t, and never will.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Ha, Ha, full titanium would be lovely purely from a weight aspect, but the cost outweighs any benefit in my application really. If the Orbisoud sells I’ll be going back to Matt at Simpson Race Exhausts. Arguably you could buy another Clio for the cost of a Simpson system but the fit and finish...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

For the time being. There’s so much I like about the Orbisoud yet not enough for me to keep it. The money could be put towards me having something made that ticks all my boxes. The only other one currently for sale is a cup racer version with straight cut outlets at €1300.

Orb will probably be going up for sale if anyone’s genuinely interested. Sitting down? Price will be £850 firm.

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

Up at the crack of dawn to run 200 miles across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk with some mates this morning including @MrBlonde @Ricardos and @Dr Jekyll. Wound up at Hunstanton for breakfast after a brilliant drive in the little Clio. Maybe this is more than just a daily? 😎

Roll Centre Kits - Honest reviews

The Northloop/Bridgecraft design uses the OEM hubs but the bottom pinch knuckle is machined and threaded internally. The ball joint extender is then threaded into the hub. The extender is also machined with a relief to take the pinch bolt. So it’s a belt and braces connection. Once fitted they...

Out to play with some Porsche mates this morning for breakfast. Obviously I took my fast car. 😅

Roll Centre Kits - Honest reviews

Some pics of the NorthloopCup / Bridgecraft setup. For what it’s worth, my car has the following: AST 5100 - 70/40 NLC roll centre kit PMS topmounts & brace Black polybushes on all front bushes inc steering rack. Whiteline rear beam bushes PMS 19mm rear ARB PMS 10mm rear axle spacers PMs 10mm...

Roll Centre Kits - Honest reviews

Easily just for the machining on the parts, as I’m not sure you could make the kit for less. For me the improvement in how the car tracks over bumps and undulations was worth it alone. If anything us road car guys get to enjoy the benefits daily. So arguably better value for money than someone...

Roll Centre Kits - Honest reviews

I have a Northloop Cup kit. For what its worth, my car was always built as a fast road car that will go to th track as opposed to a track car that gets used on the road. Previously i had a 182FF on Cup dampers and Eibach springs and had driven the car in this guise for many years, sold it...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

So im, 4 days into the Orbisoud and was asked on the Trophy forum as to my thoughts vs the BTM. For what its worth, this was my response for anyone interested. Sound I think is slightly better on the Orbisoud, It’s got a deeper more angry tone than the BTM. It’s certainly gotten better over the...

Should I buy a trophy as an investment?

Unfortunately not as uncommon as we might think. Granted it’s a little league car, but I’ve said it a million times, I’ll never be on my deathbed wishing I’d driven my Porsche less. Still, each to their own I guess, as long as you’re happy.

Should I buy a trophy as an investment?

Or as you say, wear the damn thing every day and enjoy it. Mk1 RS Focus have already sprung up, as have EVO 6s etc. Classic Imprezas now also rocketed up. Personally it’s very hard unless you have a crystal ball to choose an item for appreciating. The JDM stuff hitting 25 years to become US...

Should I buy a trophy as an investment?

This is true, never going to be antiques road show money, well not in till you’re older than that previous old boy. But you could wear it daily and still make more than a Trophy lol. You’ll pay big for a vintage one as it is now.

Should I buy a trophy as an investment?

Buy a mens stainless sports Rolex, Submariner, GMT or Daytona. Far greater investment than a Trophy and much simpler to store. We’re a long time dead, buy whatever makes you happy and enjoy it. So if it appreciates, great, if not you’ve still enjoyed it.

    group N cam timing

Chances are you wont, ITBs with little runners means you're sacrificing torque to have the power up top.

    group N cam timing

Massive torque increase right in the middle, how does it feel on the road? :)
