I'll get the exhaust hangers looked at when it's in the garage on Thursday. This car has it's own ramp near enough at the local garage and all the mechanics come and say hello when I pop in! That isn't a good sign is it!
Finally got chance to clean the car after all the snow and take some decent shots of the new exhaust! Nice and noisy Janspeed Supersport sounds fantastic :)
Time for a seperate thread to chuck some dates into then? :)
Sheff or Notts are both easy enough for me. Maybe Sheff as there are some better driving roads (Snake Pass, Woodhead etc!)
Welcome to the club, there seem to be fookin' hundreds of us!
I remember that feeling of driving home and seeing people look at the colour and stripes as I drove along!
Yep car is running completely fine. No change in MPG, idle, running, revs etc. The mechanic even said it'll probably be fine for ages, just with considering selling the car I don't fancy explaining why the warning light is always on :)
In the middle of student land this morning, parked near the main row of shops.
About 20 seconds later I saw a new Audi R8 V10 - fantastic looking and sounding car. Even the 182 was outclassed ;)
Anyone had this before?
Had the pre-cat lambda on my 182 replaced about 1 month back and have a Janspeed supersport exhaust and sports cat fitted.
After about 2 weeks the management light came back on and hasn't gone off since. Mechanic suggested either a faulty lambda and to replace it...
Pretty much the same spec I have. Great cars.
Mines a 54 plate - 71k miles and still love it. Might be selling but won't be for a few months yet (unless you give me £5500 for it ;))
I had it going on and off a few weeks back. Had a new sports cat fitted in November so had the light turned off after that. It wasn't having any starting issues until this past week. Hardly been using it though so might be down to loads of short trips and not giving the battery chance to charge up!
Since it's been cold my 182 trip computer has been resetting every time the car is left overnight and the car starts second time instead of first from cold. I assumed this would mean new battery required, but the emissions light (bottom right corner) has been permanently on since the issue...
Haha there are some self righteous people old before their time on this thread!
I stopped at the local Asda for a loaf of bread on my way home late the other night and in an empty car park covered in snow it was rude not to handbrake it into a space. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done...
