    new exhaust but...

Janspeed supersport with high-flow cat on my 182 - sounds fantastic. Sometimes think it's a bit loud but 95% of the time it's fine and has a great roar when booting it! A friend has a Blue Flame on his and it doesn't sound anything like as good plus it isn't that well made. I've heard a...

    Racing Blue or Inferno?

Yeah everyone says that about mine, did it in the dark lol!

    Racing Blue or Inferno?

Janspeed Supersport on the RB and the Inferno has a Blue Flame.

    Racing Blue or Inferno?

Yep unfortunately retro-fitted by the previous owner who must have been an alcoholic.

    Racing Blue or Inferno?

True true. They are phone shots taken in about 2 seconds though.

    Racing Blue or Inferno?

Just found these from a few weeks back. Went for a bit of a drive and brightened up the otherwise dull UK weather :)

    Clio GT 1.6 (128 Bhp)

    I get that out of a 182 with a Supersport exhaust :)

    yozzasport supersports recessed/ ktec supersports

I've been running a K-Tec supersport on the 182 for a couple of months now. Sounds fantastic, but not totally stupid as an everyday exhaust! The Yozza ones I've heard sound that bit louder, a better sound but perhaps not for everyday!

Time to get the belts changed

Birchdown have a good rep for sure :) I went to CG Cars in Leicester - decent price and good service!

RB 182 for sale - anyone's on here???

Looks very similar to mine - miles, age, colour etc. It's a very good price that and the best spec ;) I was looking to put mine up at £5k on a 54 plate, but it might be worth a bit more than I thought :) I personally went for a cheeky price when I bought mine and ended up getting £300 off the...

Highest mileage on a Renault sport model only!

Mine ticked over 70k the other day and it's almost at 71k already! Done 11k in mine since April (as a weekend only car!) - Oops!

Emissions Light on - lambda just replaced!

Yep car ran fine before the pre-cat sensor was replaced. No difference in revs, idle or MPG. No difference now either. The garage did a full diagnostic test on the car and the post-cat sensor came back as working fine. Strange!

Emissions Light on - lambda just replaced!

Had the pre-cat lambda sensor on the 182 replaced 2 weeks ago and after about 300 miles driving the emissions light is back on again! My thoughts are that it's either the same problem, it wasn't repaired properly in the first place or it's just another problem to add to the collection! Has...

    My travelling Flickr photo diary

Fantastic trip! Definitely fancy tackling a similar route in South America myself sometime soon!

    Fuel Cap

Mine was stuck tight the other day so I tried the spare key and randomly that worked! Maybe the WD40 or perhaps hairdryer option might do the trick?

Your Arctic Blue Clio's - What wheels? Turinis?

I have standard wheels coated in dark grey which look good though I think they'd look mint in black. Turinis ftw though - never used to be a fan until I saw some on a 182 done properly :)

    Maybe changing to another exhaust?

K-Tec sell various ones, but the Janspeed is one they do. Think it's on their website as a K-Tec Janspeed on some pages just to confuse people! I have a Janspeed Supersport with high flow cat and it sounds fantastic. Good quality item too!

Am I getting to old for this modifying malarkey

Absolutely the same for me - Janspeed supersport is the only mod and that was because the exhaust broke!

    Possibly Liquid Force?

    exhaust gas monitor warning light

Lambda sensor is often the issue. Is it on permanently or does is it intermittent? Mine was on permanently and it was the pre-cat lambda sensor. Easy enough to sort out though and about £55 for a new sensor.

Is if economical to keep my car 100800 miles

I've spent a load on my 70k mile 182 recently and debated selling it for ages. Decided to keep it now as I've sorted so many of the common faults that I might as well enjoy the money I've spent on it!

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

All sorted now and running fine. £55 for the lambda sensor plus £50 for the diagnostics, labour and fuel which I thought was a bit steep considering they only put a tenner in, but all seems fine now!

    RB 182 Part Deux

Looking good and it is the best colour by a mile ;) 30k isn't high miles though, mine turned over 70k on Sunday lol!
  24. V

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

£55 for sensor and fitting it tomorrow but that won't be much. Plus £5 for the fuel to test drive it as I left it totally empty - oops!

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

Mine was the front one Paul. Light was on for a few days then went off. Replaced by local mechanic, David Drew in West Bridgford who normally look after the car.

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

Problem was down to the lambda sensor working intermittently. Now replaced and hopefully all will be well!
  27. V

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

Lol wish I could say the same. My car barely turns a wheel Monday to Friday!
  28. V

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

Yep if I do purely city driving then like most cars the MPG is rubbish. Managed 23mpg driving round London for a couple of days lol!
  29. V

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

Yep that is what I thought when the mechanic quoted £170. I picked the car up pretty sharpish :)
  30. V

    2nd Lambda sensor - P0130?

Combination around town and on the motorway of 33-35mpg usually. Same as it's been since I bought it on a standard exhaust in April
