So today was the final clean of the V6 before it gets collected and over to Ireland tomorrow. The closer it gets the more gutted I am, had a lot of comments on it today whilst cleaning it at my mums and driving it back, most I've ever had I think!
Real shame to see it go but just isn't the...
So since agreeing a sale on the V6 I've been struggling to settle on it's replacement. Couldn't work out if I should borrow some money for an LCI E92 M3 or a 997 C2S, C4S, or going back to an E46 M3, RS4 or an M6. After a few rides out in a few possibles nothing ticked the boxes, and I was...
Just upgraded and got an iPhone 6. I've backed up my old 5 onto my laptop, but when trying to restore from a backup it doesn't give me an option of the one from my 5……what can I do?!?!
I've got the Clio up for sale at the minute, but after a good hard look on PH I can't put my finger on anything I really want to own that I can afford so thinking I might keep hold of it for a little bit longer.
It's having some expensive work done at the end of the month which was a bit of a...
Lovely car…!

(I don't think this breaches selling rules posting an ebay link does it?)
Been using Sky Go for months and never had a problem, but trying to watch top gear on it tonight and it's not crashing Safari every 10 minutes or so…..anyone had this before?
I'm trying to get my bike insurance sorted and have a quick question. I'll be insuring it TPFT, and car get it £50 cheaper for having a £1k excess over a £500 excess. doesn't really seem worth it. However I thought that your excess only applies to fixing your own vehicle in the event of an...
For the past couple of weeks I've been searching and test driving a few cars, mainly looking back to an M3, as I miss the power and how well they drive. The Clio doesn't move much and is a lot of cash to have tied up after just buying my first house....
But then we have some sun and I clean it...
Washer jets on the V6 are useless, I'm sure I read on here once that there's some you can buy that have amuck better spray pattern rather than 2 powerful jets….can anyone shed any light?
Got to renew the Clio in a couple of weeks, currently with Sky but lost all faith in them so won't be going back to them. Remember speaking to Greenlight last year and thought I'd go with them as they seem to be loved on here, wasn't really going to bother with other quotes but after what's come...
Been using the Clio quite a bit over the last few weeks, because I'm skint and it had a full tank of fuel in it! On the way to work in Friday morning and it had a bit of a problem, suspected coil packing up.
Round to the garage for diagnosis and confirmed cylinder 5 had gone down.
So ECP on...
Been trying to log in to my EE account for about a month and it won't work…have reset the password etc but nothing seems to work?!
Access with my app is also blocked.
Keep trying to call them but then get cutoff, doing my head in!
Anyone had anything similar?
Just put these on ebay and thought it was worth a try sticking them on here.

Moving into my own place in December and wanting to start getting bits and pieces bought, first on the list being a TV option. I want Sky/Virgin eventually but want to be comfortable with costs before I go down that route. What are my options for free / VERY cheap TV?
I know there's standard...
Was up north this weekend for a family thing, and decided to take the V6 since I've now sold the M3.
Total of 596 miles averaging 25.1mpg overall which wasn't too bad.
Route was:
Derby to Carlisle.
Carlisle to Ambleside via a 160 mile detour finding some awesome roads
Ambleside to Carlisle...
I'm up in the lakes this weekend for a family thing but fancy doing a few epic routes through there for some fun, anyone got any hints? Think I'm going to take the V6 over the M3, mainly for the noise and it looks better in pictures!
I've got to clean an engine that's covered in oil…the dipstick has been left out so it's spat oil everywhere.
Whats the easiest/quickest/safest way??!
Was thinking lots of APC, jet wash, fairy liquid?
Not used it for a while and spotted some OK photo places when I was on my bike last weekend so thought I'd give it a thrashing after work today. Had bought some Recaro's for it but couldn't get to collect them so still on the lookout, want Lawro to part with his ;)
Most of these are...
Picked these up from Swindon on Thursday night, mainly for the tyres but thought I fancied something a little different, not quite sure what to think though…!
CSL's will be refurbed and then I'll keep both sets I think, and just swap them over when I'm bored.
Pretty sure I'll get some...
Went to the EM meet today organised by Tom, was spot on and really enjoyed it. Was only 20 mins from me so decided to take the M3, then back home and there again to run the V6 - mainly just out of curiosity for what they get!
M3 was up first:
After having some problems we worked out it...
Clean pics are actually from last week but forgot about them!
also finally got round to collecting my new wheel cap, rear number plate light and some silver visions for the Clio.
Eurgh!
And a couple of the Jag I cleaned a few weeks ago Phase1sr
Although it is rusting after...
Woke up slightly hungover and my usual cure is bacon and car cleaning, had a good run in the V6 Sunday afternoon too so was a bit dirty. Will be having a full machine polish to try and get it to 100% perfect (or as good as I'm capable of!) so this was the start with a good clean, deter, iron-X...
This car is bat s**t mental! They are so ridiculous to drive its amazing, grin from ear to ear bigger than anything else I've ever driven!
Exhaust isn't standard which makes it sound epic, not stupid loud but the burble and few pops makes it all the better.
Standard garage pic I've done with...
Long story short I've added a V6 to my fleet. Jesus these cars are so ridiculously bonkers, can't stop laughing at the noise and feeling they give you driving!
Can anyone recommend a Bodyshop in Derby/Notts area? Need a front end respray on my M3 + a few other bits sorting, and after a 100% job! All the ones I have used in the past have shut down so not sure where to go!
Third new car thread from me in about 6 months!
After deciding I was keeping the Porsche for a year 100% definitely a few day before, I happened to stumble on M3cutters again and saw a car I had to have. Viewed it the following day and then collected it the day after that!
The history with the...
:D
As usual, a complete impulse buy car wise! Was advertised on Tuesday night, went to see it in Crewe on Wednesday night, and just got back from collecting it tonight!
Absolutely love it, last time I was this excited about a car was when I got my first 2 years ago! Only downside is it's...
Right then, need some help/answers if possible.
Fit girl at work has a 10 plate TT petrol Turbo on 44k and we think it's fooked. Wednesday morning she pulled up at work and it was running fine, just like normal, she comes to leave and the car won't start at all. It turns over and the starter...
