Timing - How often on track car?

I think the service book changed from 5 years to 3 because of early failures.

Timing - How often on track car?

That's the thing these days. It's cheaper to change the engine than it is to do the belts 😅 That's if you can do the work yourself that is.

Timing - How often on track car?

Usage is irrelevant really. Still go off the usual 5 years or 72k miles. and 3 years or 36k for the aux belt.

They're not much use with a string and a rule 😂

    Jenvey Throttle bodies expected BHP?

Should have said.... That's if it would have ran 185 at RSTuning. Has it had a cambelt since the previous owner?

    Jenvey Throttle bodies expected BHP?

If it ran 185 at EFI and only made 190 on bodies, I'd be a bit disappointed tbh. Would usually be looking at a 10-15bhp gain and usually more with cams.

    Rear toe setting

Yeah mine is around 3 degree of caster with no adjustments done to it.

It's 32 minutes off from perfectly straight basically. Imagine 60 minutes being 1 degree, so yours is basically half a degree off. That equates to about 3mm on a 15-16" wheel.

That's not the worst I've seen. Could easily correct that with shims.

    Vapour blasting

Vapour blasting closes up the pores in the surface too, so they'll last longer before going white/corroded again. Just give them a wipe over with WD-40 or ACF50 once in a while.

The everlasting ph1 ITB Build **GREEN-BUILD STARTS AT PAGE 100**

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Aye. In hindsight, you would have stopped the car and pulled the release straight away.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Didn't open it in time so the heat melted the pull cable.

I use the 1/2" mid torque fuel, which is 600nm of tightening torque I think and around 800nm of 'nut busting' torque. More than enough for most jobs and it's not that expensive compared to the beast mode one they do.

    I know that, I mean in Dan's case. A 21 isn't needed. My combo is the 15 MK2 and the 75 Mini.

There's a reason the 15 has 'detailer' on the handle 😉 21 would be for body shop work IMO.

Usually silicone grease that comes with caliper rebuild kits. Or CV grease will work if you have that.

The 15 is the ideal all rounder, but you'll still need a smaller machine for 3 inch pads for the tighter work.

My 182ff track car build (so far)

The Renault tool is like a big spanner I think. That one I linked should work like the types you use on oil filters.
