Probably best to use a map sensor the vag boys use too.
Fault light is coming up in 5th when flat out.
one thing i do wonder though, the guy told me injector duration wasn't that bad so probably with a higher flowing pump we could achieve more even with standard injectors...
Lol, sounds like a plan!
i've been to a tuner near me yesterday and had a good conversation regarding the stuff we want.
he said it's possible and would be able to help me out on the mapping side of things for a reasonable/buddy's price.
he also made a fast map for fun and wow, does it change...
Hhhmmm, if i see it correct the nozzle is longer! What code off injector do you have as there's supposed to be 2 different nozzle lengths.
wonder if it fits fysically and icw the valve though!
Don't think there are shims in the dci injectors. Shims are for pd type injectors which open on a crack pressure. Calibrating the shims makes for an even crack pressure.
afaik that's the electronic calibrating with our injectors done by the code. That accounts for the difference in response...
As you've used the crdi injectors i'm lead to beleive those nozzles will fit aswell. Which can be had on ebay for £80.
although i very much doubt the build wuality of them...
only thing i can think of atm is i'm soon fitting cruise control to my dci and have to set it up in the uch although i have a friend with a renault garage so he'd probably be able to set it up for me.
guess i'll be buying myself a knock-off delphi item.
But i wonder how much the canclip can do more. Since there only a £40 price difference.
i'm leaning towards the delphi though cause it can read/test al kind of brands instead of just renault...
Just had a look on ebay and i guess you're talking bout a ds150?
knock-offs are only £150 so not too bad.
i wonder what the capabilities off the canclip are though. Those are £108
Have been googling alot and as found out before 1.6 hdi nozzles should fit too and be good for 170bhp. Which can be had a lot cheaper because these injectors aren't so prone to failures.
however i have found tdci bins so would probably make mapping more easy although hdi bins should be easy to...
Re: Ferrar F12
Lol! Did you even have your eyes open when you typed this?
i can see a 10cm shadow from the side vent and the wing in the front bumper wants to eat me!
wheels look horrendous too btw!
Managed to try anything mate? I cleaned my egr valva and manifold yesterday.
omg what a mess! Also tried consumption runs on the exact same road with same condition but couldn't notice any difference with egr unplugged and plugged. So for motorway economy egr does nothing at all, if it still...
We'll see mate, by the sounds of it you have good contact with bob  I've heard of the 1.6 nozzle too but i think this is a simpler safer option.
The pump i ordered will take a while as a mate of mine collects parts for me and then sends them over to surpress postage costs. I'm getting...
Lol, puma is the engine code/name. It's not a ford puma :p
If you look in that pdf you'll see 2 different types. However in the other delphi pdf there are 3 different pn's for the ford pumps.
so don't really know which we have bought...
however if i conclude that 0.6cm3 is enough for 125bhp...
The pdf even has pump flow information!
puma pump also has 4 plungers, wonder how they're built in.
but i think it's safe to say with twice the output the pump can deliver 250bhp!
depending on which one we have though.... It says puma/lynx and 1 for just puma.
odds are big that's the 2.2 st...
No i haven't. Not sure if i will too, i read alot of mixed opinions on it!
i know the inlet will stay cleaner but it will also warm up slower and have lower mpg while city driving as far as i've read.
