Good write up and nice video Mark, I did lol when your missus dives in through the passenger door at the pitstop. Congratulations on a top ten finish as well in your first outing.
I wonder if it was you guys I passed on the A46 on a very early morning a few weeks back. I was going to Cadwell park in a red PH1 witha sticker bombed rear bumper.
F**kin hell that video is immense. The overtaking is full on there guys some real committed work and the pass on that Hyundai I bet he wondered what was going on. It seemed like you passed him and the blue Nova about every 4 laps lol. Epic work gents and I hope to be able to get to Donington to...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
I feel disappointed I didn't come down on Wednesday now especially as the missus worked most of the day and we didn't really get to go out and eat till 9pm. Ahh well yest again there is always next time.
My Ph1 was £650, 12 months MOT, had 4 months tax, the guy that had owned it worked for TVR Power in Coventry so had done alot fo the service work and had a rake load of receipts. I have put two tyres on it, front bearings, uprated front and rear discs and brakes for trackday use. Apart from a...
There are a few companies around offering soem good after market cams that produce a nice increase in bhp and performance once mapped, how do the 197 cams compare?
The a/c or the p/s or both? Only really looking to do the a/c for now.
I should clarify the term 'only looking' as if I'll be doing this when infact I'll be off to see Fred with the parts and a load of cash to take care of it for me as I am a complete mechanical nightmare at doing anything more...
I took my mates MX5 round Cadwell Park for a few laps the other week, its a 1.8 with a very close ratio six speed box. Drove amazingly well, handled ridiculously well and if it was slightly more practical I'd get one....but I do like my PH1.
Mine doesn't work anyway. Might as well take it off. I have matched inlets to be fitted, I am looking inti a cam as well so might as well take the a/c off at the same time.
Part of the reason I don't wave at Clio owners, just look like some old dude trying to be cool. In my MKII golf I got flashed and waved at all the time. I guess people could tell it was modified.
Hi Guys,
How easy is it to fit the a/c delete kit from a cup toa PH1? is it a straight forward bolt on jobbie or is there some form of modification needed? Advice please fella's before I pay out more than I need to for a Pure kit.
Thanks
